Fantastic - IM IN LOVE!!, June 8, 2009
This review is from: Graco Blossom Highchair, Townsend (Baby Product)
We got the high chair delivered the day my baby girl turned 6 months old. I am so happy we did! I researched high chairs for months, thus being the reason we didnt get one sooner. I was back and forth between this one and the Fisher Price Zen, seeing as I have the Zen swing and bouncer..and love them.. Ultimately I went with this one because of the postive reveiws, the easy to clean, the options and the smaller foot print.
This thing is more like a 10 in 1 than a 4 in 1
First of all, it was so easy to put together, Im the mom, I did it myself in about 10-15 minutes. I wondered if it would be high enough for my counter height table.. to be level with us while we are eating. If it went up one more height adjustment it would be perfect, but I love everything else about so much that its easy to forgive. It also goes super low, so she can see everything going on down near the floor if we are just all hanging out in the living room. Its obviously perfect for our formal dining room also, its a regular height table. I love the leatherish seat cover, its soft and very easy to clean, and the printed insert is also an adorable pattern.
Ive read the reviews about the snack tray being to far from their baby.. I noticed that too - EXCEPT.. you can adjust how car the try slides in and out from your baby - which is fantastic! Also.. there are pretty much 3 trays in all. The clear plastic cover that you can put in the dishwasher, the tray without the cover and the small snack tray.
It comes with the second toddler booster which is seperate from the chair, so you need to have a place to store it if you arent using it with a second child.
Overall, I love this chair, its modern, yet not too over the top - its trendy with nice color tones and not too bright and crazy like a lot of baby toys/entertainers are.
Oh - a note about the foot rest, you feel as if you might break it when installing, just give it some force and it snaps right in.

It was worth waiting for!, March 25, 2009
This review is from: Graco Blossom Highchair, Townsend (Baby Product)
We waited for this highchair to come off the assembly line and we are glad we waited for it. It looks like it'll carry us from infant to toddler 'plus'. (highchair, youth chair, booster) It took 15 minutes to put together, which wasn't bad. It rolls around smoothly which is wonderful. We love the adjustable heights - it is so easy to go up and down depending on our needs. We like the big tray AND the small tray. I can see where both are handy. It adjusts to reclining easily too. Our child is 5 months old and is enjoying being "up" with the big people, instead of sitting on the floor in a bouncey seat. Now he can join me making dinner in the kitchen and then be rolled to the table. Now we feel like a real family having dinner together. sort of....

Great 4-in-1 System, April 25, 2009
This review is from: Graco Blossom Highchair, Townsend (Baby Product)
We waited as long as we could to buy a high chair, but our 10 1/2 month-old child needed a better eating situation, so we started looking. After deciding against both models recommended by the Baby Bargain book 7th edition (Graco Contempo because of complaints about cleaning and the design on Amazon reviews, and FP Rain Forest Healthy Chair because it was just too ugly), we were looking at higher end models that grow with the child (like the Svan, Stokke Trippe Trapp and Keekaroo). The high price was a turnoff and when we saw some of the models in person, they looked kind of cheap for being over $300 bucks with all the necessary accessories, plus many didn't have one handed tray removal and needed to be unscrewed to adjust the height.
Then we happened upon the Blossom at a Burlington Coat Factory and it was fairly nice looking and seemed like it would be easy to clean (which was a sticking point for me). Of course, I had to come home and do more research on the internet, but the Blossom is very new so not a lot of reviews out there yet. We decided to buy it from Amazon anyway and are not sorry.
The high chair assembly was pretty easy and the instructions were straightforward. We put the chair in all four configurations just to make sure it worked, and it does, but we're only actively using the high chair format since our child is a small 10 1/2 months. Even as small as she is, the leg bar still pushes into her and since it's attached to the tray, there isn't any way to adjust it. If you have a larger infant, I would highly recommend trying it out in a store to make sure your child will fit before buying it. Of course, the tray adjusts to different positions, but then there is a gap between the baby and the tray where all the food can fall, so definitely try it out if you can. We were able to snug it up on our child, so it works great. The large tray will be great once our kid is older, but for now we just use the smaller tray, which is still a good size. Overall, we really like this high chair and think it is a great alternative to those pricier models mentioned above.

Great Chair, August 20, 2009
This review is from: Graco Blossom Highchair, Townsend (Baby Product)
I hesitated to buy this chair because my daughter is almost 2 but I am so glad I did! We didn't like our previous two highchairs but this one had everything we were looking for without being ridiculous looking. It seems comfortable, easy to clean, reclines, safe, etc. I love that I can use the booster while visitors can use the highchair. It will be perfect for any family with a toddler and a baby. I have never seen a chair that is multiple uses that can be utilized at the same time. My daughter, who does not like being strapped down to anything, is in love with the chair.
The chair was easy to put together and even easier to convert. I do not like that the t-bar is attached to the tray but have found that leaving the snack tray attached takes care of this problem (there is plenty of room to get baby in and out with snack tray attached).
Definately the best chair I have seen...worth the extra money.

completely in love with a chair!!!, August 8, 2009
This review is from: Graco Blossom Highchair, Townsend (Baby Product)
I could not conceivably think of another high chair I've seen that would stand up to this one. I have a seven month old, and a three year old, and they both love it! I use the child chair and the infant seat strapped to a kitchen chair most often, but when my sister comes over, I unhook the baby seat from the base that is strapped to the chair, and let my 3 year old niece sit there. NO OTHER HIGH CHAIR COULD DO THAT!!! there are combinations that aren't mentioned in the video review or even the product description that would make this chair worth the money. I would not send this chair back for anything in the world. Other products do grow with baby, or have features like "turns into a table and chair later"... but those ones' are more costly, and have lower reviews. This chair was simple to assemble, easy to use, easy to change, and easy to clean. In fact, I live in an apartment, and it has a normal size dishwasher, and the tray fit into it with no problems. BUY THIS CHAIR AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

THE Best Highchair EVER, July 27, 2009
This review is from: Graco Blossom Highchair, Townsend (Baby Product)
We love this highchair. We have a 4 year old and an 8 month old. This is our 3rd highchair.
Features we love:
Fit: This chair FITS my infant daughter. She fits in this chair without the extra insert way better than in the basic Evenflo chair we had before. I only use the 3-point harness and let her shoulders be free and she sits at a correct level so her arms can move around well and she can lean and reach for things on the tray. Many other chairs have a real problem with fit. So, I do believe that with the insert, this is the perfect chair to start your 4 month infant in for feeding. The insert will make them more secure, kind of like their carseat.
Tray Insert: With our other chairs, the tray clicks down into the larger tray all the way around...you can remove it for cleaning. Fine. But I always hated that food got into the crack nearest to the baby so I couldn't just wipe it down...I HAD to remove it to get out all the gunk. The tray on this is so smart...the edge closest to the baby wraps all the way down and clicks under the lip of the large tray...one smooth surface where all the food is landing. I love it!
Upholstry: I love this leather look. It cleans easy and is really cushy. The part that is designed to match other Graco gear is just an insert for small infants. The rest of it is just a tan color and it matches anything.
Sturdiness: I can't tell you how much safer I feel my daughter is in this...it is solid. I never felt terribly comfortable reclining her in other seats, but this one is made well and I am not worried.
Versitality: This is one of the best parts. We bought this and now we are using both the highchair for our 8 month old daughter and the booster for our 4 year old son. Here is how it works. Basically it is like a high chair with 2 bases. Both bases are toddler chairs themselves - I will call them the rolling base and the chair base. So, you have a toddler seat attached to the rolling base, and another toddler seat that you can attach with straps to a chair, the chair base. Then you can take the separate highchair part and click it into the rolling base or to the chair base, whichever you like. Then the unused base becomes a toddler chair. One might think that you could sit 3 children...2 toddlers in the bases and then an infant in the highchair part, but the highchair really needs to click into a base because it is not designed to be on its own. The highchair with the chair base would be great to take when traveling, especially if you just use the snack tray and leave the large tray at home. And the toddler seat that is attached to the highchair frame is truly good for getting under tables with a lip because of it's low sides, unlike many toddler seats that come up too far and you can't scoot them under the table.
Worth noting...I see no problem with the snack tray. At 8 months, my daughter fits fine and it is half as big as the tray...a great size snack tray! And it has it's own separate cup holder. You really don't need the snack tray before they start feeding themselves, so I can't see it being a problem at the age you would need it.
Adjustable foot rest: I just love this and it just makes it better for the baby to have more support. My 8 month old can't touch the highest setting yet, but probably within 6 months or so.
Toddler seat: I thought it was extra great that they include an adjustable back...there are 3 slots to put slide a "back" into the chair...that way you can match the length of the chair to your child's legs. My 4 year old is big enough that we removed the back and let him sit all the way back in order that is knees bend in the right place. But I can see where this would be a great feature for perfect fit through the years.
This really is a great chair for every possible use (infant, toddler, preschooler, traveling, having an extra seat if you have other kids over to your house). The system will seat 2 children at once (1 baby with tray and 1 older child OR 2 older children)
We love this...worth every penny!

Great for a younger baby, but that's about i!, December 6, 2009
This review is from: Graco Blossom Highchair, Townsend (Baby Product)
Unlike most other reviewers, I don't LOVE this chair. I think it's OK, but I slightly regret this purchase. We got this chair when our first baby was four months old. It was perfect at the beginning to put him in the chair so that he could sit and watch us eat dinner. We loved this chair until we actually started to feed him in it about a month and a half later. I did not think of how I would use this chair. Now it turns out ideal to feed him in the kitchen for breakfast and then at the dining room for dinner. It wheels around well on our hardwood floors. I wish the smaller tray was actually small in width, but it's not. The chair is still very far away from the table which means I have to seriously reach over with the spoon. I would now prefer to have a different chair that could slide closer to the table. The T-bar is attached to the tray, so we cannot leave the baby in the chair without the tray.
Overall, I can see why others LOVE this chair, but I think it's just OK. For the price, I would expect this chair to be a bit better.
Update: I originally gave this chair 3 stars, but now that my baby started finger food I am giving it two stars. The tray is big and is a pain to wash - I wish the chair came with two trays or one that could fit into the dishwasher. The tray cover does not actually cover the tray all the way. So, after every meal I end up washing both the tray cover and the tray. I wish there was a smaller tray that I could use for snack time. The small tray is useless. There is too much space between the small tray and the baby since the T bar is in the way. So, the baby ends up covered in food. I now wish that I got a cheap chair, since if I hated that I wouldn't feel so guilty about buying a new one. Now after spending $150, I am stuck with this one.

Great for infant to toddler, August 10, 2009
This review is from: Graco Blossom Highchair, Townsend (Baby Product)
Our highchair we had before this one was BIG and clunky and even though it was supposed to be easy to put away, unless you had a large closet with space, it wasn't. So when we had our second baby, we started looking for a different high chair. We checked out Consumer Reports as we always do for things such as this and the Blossom was very highly rated. We went to Graco's website and watched the video. We were hooked. It works for both our toddler and our newborn, PLUS, it conviently fits at the table (both the HC and the TC), out of the way. No spot in a closet needed. You are getting 2 FOR 1 with this high chair. It is worth the $. Great idea for people with small spaces, like us.
