short power cord
I recently bought model XSR9945, first it is big and heavy. The windshield suction cup is a terrible design, it won't hold up the unit and the suction cups won't stick to the windshield ( there too small). The power cord is too short to reach my windshield in a Subaru Outback. The power cord should be a straight cord, without the curls to reach and maybe put out of the...

I recently bought model XSR9945, first it is big and heavy. The windshield suction cup is a terrible design, it won't hold up the unit and the suction cups won't stick to the windshield ( there too small). The power cord is too short to reach my windshield in a Subaru Outback. The power cord should be a straight cord, without the curls to reach and maybe put out of the way to your vision (if you can get it to stay on the windshield, mine's on the dash now). I would probably go to a store next time to see how big it is before I bought another one, size does matter !

I really like this it is loud enough to hear over the radio and wind.

I'VE OWNED MANY COBRA PRODUCTS, THIS RADAR DETECTOR HAS MORE FUNCTIONS THAN ANY THAT I HAVE HAD IN THE PAST. I'M TAKING A TRIP DOWN TO FLORIDA NEXT WEEK AND I WILL REALLY CHECK IT OUT. GOOD PRODUCT. TOM

Thus far, this unit appears to do the job it was designed to do. Many programing options gives ability to customize unit.
