We have a winner!
My daughter was born blind and has a strong tactile defense when it comes to exploring new items with her hands. She has never shown any interest in pacifiers or teething toys of various types no matter how hard we've tried. She'd rather chew on her bottle nipple or sippy cup spout. Adorable but over priced
This teether toy is adorable but really not terribly different from a $2 dog toy with a squeaker. It is very cute but be careful if you have a dog who is accustomed to having squeaky toys - battles will ensue!

We have a winner!, March 7, 2009
My daughter was born blind and has a strong tactile defense when it comes to exploring new items with her hands. She has never shown any interest in pacifiers or teething toys of various types no matter how hard we've tried. She'd rather chew on her bottle nipple or sippy cup spout. She's teething really bad right now and has been in constant pain as several teeth are erupting back to back so I decided to give the yellow Chan Pie Gnon a try.
First off, HomeGreenSolutions processed and shipped the item very fast and I received it 2 days ahead of the scheduled delivery date. I took the toy out and recognized the familiar natural rubber feel and smell. I washed it as my daughter was playing in her crib and she immediately started responding to the squeaking sound as I was handling it. I brought it to her and introduced it by making a few squeaks and then gently put her hands on it so she could feel it. I then helped her to squeeze it. She was excited so I helped her to place the loop in her mouth. She started chewing it and flashed a huge grin. As I type this I can hear her in her crib playing with the chew toy and making it squeek. Finally, a chew toy that she likes! I couldn't be happier.

Great Teether! Softer than Sophie, February 21, 2010
This review is from: Vulli Soft Toy CPG GNON (Baby Product)
This is a great little teether.
We have this and Sophie the giraffe, and our son loves both.
This one is made of thinner/softer rubber than Sophie, and is a simpler shape, so it's easier for him to get a nice big hunk in his mouth and bear down when his gums are hurting.
I also like the handle on the head of the yellow one. It is very easy for my 5.5 month old to grasp and play with. The small loop handle also makes it simple to attach the toy to the stroller or carrier we're using with a pacifier clip, so that it's not dropped/lost.
He honestly plays with both Sophie and this about the same amount, so I'm happy that we bought both.
*Tip: The prices for Vulli products fluctuate wildly on Amazon, so put them in your shopping cart and track them for a week or two to nab it at a low price. Once it's in your shopping cart Amazon will automatically alert you of new pricing on the product.

Great teether, June 22, 2009
This teether is easier for my 5 month old daughter to get in her mouth than Sophie la girafe. She loved it at first sight and enjoyed rubbing the handle (?) at the top against her gums. A little odd-looking, all right, but it sure makes baby happy.

Love the Vulli!, August 6, 2010
This review is from: Vulli Soft Toy CPG GNON (Baby Product)
The Vulli toy is super cute and the little ring hook is perfect for the little hands. It is one of the few teethers out there that are safe, fun and cute. I definitely recommend it. I skipped the Sofie giraffe for this because my 6 months old would likely gag at the legs since she already does when putting her fingers in her mouth. This was an awesome alternative! The only complain I have is the water can get into the little hole in the back so have to give it an extra squeeze after each wash to clear the water.

Great teether, fun toy!, June 6, 2010
This review is from: Vulli Soft Toy CPG GNON (Baby Product)
I was unsure about purchasing this due to the price. My friend raved about Sophie the Giraffe and so I bought both after her recommendation and reading reviews online. My 6th month old son is teething and needs to always be chewing on something. He likes Sophie, but loves this guy better. It took him a little while to figure out how to grasp it, but once he did it has been hard to get it out of his hands and mouth. This one is squishier than Sophie and so I think, more gentle on his gums. When my son sees this teether he gets very excited, smiles and can not wait to get his hands on it. This is A MUST teether to have, the price is worth it.

Not as great as Sophie, but still good, February 20, 2010
This review is from: Vulli Soft Toy CPG GNON (Baby Product)
I purchased this little guy because my son loves his Sophie. My baby is four months old and has a hard time gripping onto GNON. I think he'll like it better when he gets a little older. I think he is cute and I like how soft the plastic is. And of course, it is great because it is BPA-free.

Squeeks just like a Dog toy, January 18, 2010
This review is from: Vulli Soft Toy CPG GNON (Baby Product)
My 4 month old has not shown much interest in this toy. If you have dogs, beware, the squeek sounds exactly like a dogs toy -- and my dogs WANT this toy whenever they hear me squeeze it.

Safe and cute teething toy, August 22, 2010
This review is from: Vulli Soft Toy CPG GNON (Baby Product)
I bought this for my son after we lost Sophie since he's less expensive. My son enjoys teething on him but seems to have liked Sophie better. It's still great that this is made from natural rubber and food-based paint and don't have to worry about him chewing on it. It's really cute, too.

A great toy!, August 19, 2010
This review is from: Vulli Soft Toy CPG GNON (Baby Product)
This is a great toy! My 6 month old loves chewing on it's feet and "hair". She really loves the sound it makes when she squicks it! My 2 year old also really likes squicking it too!
