I used this charger with a 9 cell battery and it kept cycling off. I put the standard battery back in the netbook and the charger does not work reliably. I unplug it and plug back in and it works for a few moments then quits. I can leave in on one night and it works, the next night it shuts off and the battery is run down completely.
