Great little set!, October 26, 2009

Let me start by saying that this isn't the kind of Lego kit you buy to keep your child busy building for hours on end. It's only 79 pieces, and I'd guess would take even the most inexperienced builder only 5 or 10 minutes to put together. Why buy it then?
For starters, this set has 4 whole minifigures, including Indy, Marion, and two bad guys. That's a lot of little Lego guys for a set in this price range, and one of them is even a girl, quite a rare specimen in Legoland! There are also lots of unusual and interesting accessory pieces... Indy's whip, a frying pan, a golden plate, a couple of green apples, and a huge barrel that the figures can hide inside. This is not a set that will be built and stuck away on a shelf. These guys will undoubtedly be battling it out for years to come - lots of play value and lots of fun!

I bought these for my nephews, and if it has the Leg logo on the box, they are in heaven.

What's not to like about Legos? They're fun, with easy to follow directions, collectable, and new get out dated.

My son is really into Legos of any type. He asked for this kit specifically. He or I were not disappointed. The pieces fit beautifully and are interchangable with other kits. A must for all future engineers!

I'm usually not into the Indiana Jones series of Lego but when I saw this one, I had to have it. It's a classic movie scene that is known by everyone and personally one of my favorite movie scenes of all time.

This scene in the movie, by far in my opinion, is one of the funniest moments in movie history. Honestly. What was just a silly thing Harrison did on the set because he wasn't feeling well, turned out to be many people's favorite scene in the film. Funny stuff! I'm so glad that they came out with a Lego set depicting this scene. It has so many details, including apples to sell in the marketplace, and the always coveted knife that the "bad guy" wanted to use to harm Indy. Of course, the whip is there and this set has 4 figures which is a bit unusual in this price range. It goes together pretty quickly and is quite fun when put with the other "Raiders" sets, especially the temple escape. It's quite loved in this house, super cute, tons of play time hands down. Highly, highly recommend!

You can't beat Lego, January 27, 2010

I bought this for my 7 year old son. He loved it. He has been playing with it ever since he got it. The only problem is him keeping up with the pieces. Sometimes I find them all over the house or my husband and I step on them. It lets children play with imagination as well as letting them use their mind to build.
