This review is from: Gi Joe Movie Bravo Vehicle Steel Crusher H2 with Nitro Viper (Toy)
I am one of those G.I. Joe guys who played with GI JOE's in the 80's when they first came out. I am happy to say that I am still one of those guys. Only now, I have to use the excuse of "they are for my son" to get away with playing with them! I am very happy with this vehicle. The vehicle has a good feel to it, and does not look "cheap". The tires are actually made of rubber, not plastic like most other ones. That is one of the better attributes. It is built solid, and looks nice once all the stickers are on it. I do wish there was a back seat like in the movie. That space is now occupied by a missle launcher. It can securely fit 2 figures inside. The others will have to "hang on for dear life" on the outside. A big plus, is the fact that there is really no assembly required. The unit comes in-tact. The front grille does detach, but it is easy to put back on. Overall I am happy with this purchase, and feel that the price is justified.

This review is from: Gi Joe Movie Bravo Vehicle Steel Crusher H2 with Nitro Viper (Toy)
This toy is over a year old but somehow still manages to be popular and sought after by kids and collectors today. The reasons are simple: it's a solid, fun reproduction of a Humvee that transforms into attack mode.

I don't think many GI Joe road vehicles come so close to a contemporary real life model (aside maybe from the 80s VAMP that was inspired by the Lambourghini Cheetah), but Hasbro made a great H3 with alot of nice details. The toy has a see-through "glass" (plastic) windshield and, in a rare move by Hasbro, real rubber tread tires to grip smooths surfaces. The front ramming grill is easily removable and the regular grill and side mirrors are a soft plastic material so they won't break easily. There are bits of silver paint highlights to match the silver wheel rims, and even clear plastic headlights.
The toy is sturdy and not prone to rolling over much, and the 2 figures sit quite well in the front seats (takes a small bit of work to get the driver to grip the steering wheel and shifter). The top of the truck has an armored shield that slides forward and down over the windshield, it needs to be pulled forward fully in order to pivot down properly and stay firmly in place. When the shield is lowered to the windshield there is an opening on the roof for the passenger to stand up and shoot from the top. Also when the shield slides forward, a launcher in the trunk pops up, which fully rotates but doesn't raise up and down, and there are spare slots to fit the extra missiles.
The 2 rear passenger doors don't open and can't fit figures, but each door has a hidden panel that pulls out to reveal a small rocket held in place tightly so it can't fall off easily. Also, there are foot pegs on the roof and the siderunners so more troops can ride along, or you can re-enact the fight between stormshadow and snake eyes.
Lastly, the Nitro-Viper driver is somewhat of a tribute to the old Nitro Viper and Motor Viper figures, taking elements from each for this figure's armored outfit and helmet.

Definite recommended vehicle, as either an attack car in an urban street skirmish or for Cobra Commander to ride in comfort in the next Cobra Parade. :)

Note: purchased from Amazon, at a great discount and with free, safely packed shipping.
