Not quite Edward, February 2, 2010

This is a very well made Tonner doll, but it is different than the jean clad version. This Edward is very good looking but not as pale as the other one and his jaw line is not as sharp. Painted Eyes are a little larger and the hair line is not as angular. The lips a bit fuller and there is a slight sheen to the face. He is handsome but not as "Vampire Looking" as the other Edward. Just my observation, but I love them both! You won't be disappointed.

When I was shopping for a Male doll to go with my Girls (was getting a little tooooo relaxed in their display case)
I decided to look at the Tonner Guys because they are a little more Masculine than the Mel Ogdom Guys. So then I found out that Tonner did Twilight !!! Awesome !!! My dolls look beautiful next to EDWARD in his nice Suit. (its quite lively in the case now, the girls are lining up to dance with Edward) Sorry Bella, your teen body just wasnt cutting it for him and hes moved on with Brenda star!
I cannot wait to get the Jacob~!!!~ amazing.

Robert Tonner and his company has launched an entire line of the Twilight dolls. I am so glad he has offered, through Amazon.com, a great price-point to introduce those not familiar with this well known doll company, a chance to own not a doll, as much as a collectible. Buying Edward and Bella on Amazon will no doubt let those unfamiliar with the quality of these dolls, to put their toe in the water, and see the other characters from the series, like James, Victoria, Laurent, and soon, Jacob. And that's just Twilight!!! Tonner has so many more lines to inspire play, fun, and collecting.
These really are more for display than for "play", ala Barbie, but what a wonderful piece of art to have on display in anyone's room!!! Here's hoping for more from the Tonner company on Amazon!!!!

Tonner Character Figures and Dolls have had a wonderful reputation with Collectors for awhile now. This Edward Cullen of the Twilight Series explains why. Wonderful construction, articulation...and the detail to clothing and accessories is amazing. Hard to believe the price as when you see this in person you would expect it to cost a few hundred!

This a very sturdy well made doll, The clothes are authentic to the movie. However, the doll looks nothing like Edward Cullen. He makes a great friend for Ellowyne Wilde.

This is a very finely crafted display doll. I would recommend this as a doll collector to another collector and NOT as a toy. Please note if you are interested in this doll it's not a Barbie it is way bigger at 17" in height and is truly meant for display but can be used for light play with older children. Over all great buy!!!!!

This edward doll is pretty much the same as the first one as far as the face. The clothes from prom are so detailed they're amazing. it's a great price for this item considering it should be $100 more. i love it and amazon ships so fast.
