Printies Perfection!
I am very surprised at all the negative reviews for this product. I have purchased two sets and it was a breeze! Software downloaded in under 5 minutes and we were up and running. The site is very kid-friendly and my 5 & 8 year old were quickly designing their own pets without my help. I did purchase new ink cartridges for my printer before we started and our designs...

DO NOT BUY!!!!
I purchased this set fro my daughter for Christmas. We downloaded the program and when we went to register, the whole process took forever and now the "secret code" that came with the product is NOT VALID. There is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT that I can find anywhere. So now I am totally out of the money I spent! DON'T BUY THiS PRODUCT if you can throw away the money. My daughter...

I purchased this set fro my daughter for Christmas. There is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT that I can find anywhere. So now I am totally out of the money I spent! DON'T BUY THiS PRODUCT if you can throw away the money. My daughter is heartbroken.

This is taken directly from the instructional insert from the product package:
"Caution
Handle Printies Fabric sheets with completely dry hands.
Do not wash, put into the washing machine, or allow liquids to come into contact with printed Printies Fabric sheets: the ink will bleed and staining could occur.
Washo your hands with soap and water after stuffing or hanling the product to remove any form o ink residue.
Aviod putting printed and stuffed Printies characters in mouth or eyes.
Ink from printed sheets may stain clothing, furniture, finished or unfinished wood, wall paper, vinyl or other materials that cannot be washed or laundered."
I am currently trying to register so my daughter can use this product and although I have clicked submit my account...nothing has happened. There is no customer support to help me. I have already entered her secret code and I am afraid if I start the process anew it will fail due to having entered the code during the failed attempt.
So, if you are looking for extreme mess and frustration this is the product for you. :)

I am very surprised at all the negative reviews for this product. I have purchased two sets and it was a breeze! Software downloaded in under 5 minutes and we were up and running. The site is very kid-friendly and my 5 & 8 year old were quickly designing their own pets without my help. I did purchase new ink cartridges for my printer before we started and our designs came out crisp and true every time. The instructions were easy to follow, gave test sheets to try before printing your real animal and plenty of stuffing for all of them. My kids had a ball with these and I would definitely buy more.
My only negative comment is that you can't wash these or get them anywhere near water - the color will spot or run IMMEDIATELy.

I guess we had better luck than some of the other reviewers. Santa actually brought this to my 6 yr old daughter, and we had a great time making them. It did take a while to get the software downloaded and then you do have to use the enclosed code to get it working which I can see why that would cause issues since once you use it, it becomes invalid, so if you make a mistake and have to reload the software or re-register, you will have trouble getting this to work. I actually opted to download the software from the [...] website, and I manually installed it instead of having it install by itself. I then saved the link to the direct download page (in case I needed it again) and then registered. This worked perfectly, and we were up and running! We had a great time actually making the printies themselves, and the software was really easy for my daughter to navigate around, and she came up with some really neat looks. I helped her get them stuffed, and she played with them all day and even put on a fashion show the following week. By then, we had already made 6 of them. She still loves them, and changes out their shoes (which help them stand up like in the commercial). I have to say that they were a lot of fun, but don't expect them to last forever. Our toddler put one of them in her mouth, and the ink did run a bit, so I would definitely keep it away from water and toddlers! Overall, it was a lot of fun because my daughter really wanted these, and it was something we were able to do together. It's not the easiest thing to get started, but it was well worth seeing her excitement watching her creations print.
