After a while, we finaly figured out how to get the faceplate on the guitar. You need to remove the neck of the guitar, and then it is easy.
It looks very authentic. I recommend this, especially at this price. It adds to the totally sensational experience of playing Guitar Hero VH. And it looks great while not playing too.

Ok, so it ain't a replica "Frankenstein" EVH guitar - and who can afford one anyway, what with the $15,000.00 + pricetag. What this faceplate is though is the next best thing for Van Halen fans who dig the whole Guitar Hero series. In just a few seconds this faceplate transforms your tired looking Guitar Hero controller into Eddie Van Halen's infamous "Frankenstein". What's it do for your game playing abilities you ask? The same thing a new pair of shoes did for you when you were a nine year old kid - you can run faster, jump higher and look way better than any of your other friends. And after all, it's not about whether you win or lose, it's how good you looked!
This faceplate looks incredible. It looks a lot like Eddie's most famous guitar, with scratches, dings and all. The stripes are pretty close as is the placement of the "squiggles". The look is right, all the way down to the half-pickguard and the screw holes for the missing half. And what red-blooded child of the 80s didn't dream of playing Eddie's guitar? Slap this faceplate on your controller, pop in Van Halen Guitar Hero, put on your cleanest dirty jeans (you know the ones with the holes in 'em) and Light Up The Sky!!!

When it has come down to Guitar Hero: Van Halen, it honestly isn't a very strong game. But, that doesn't honestly mean there isn't something for everyone for a enduring Van Halen fan. There are those who just a simple way to show it. This faceplate for the hard core Van Halen fan is great for the Guitar Hero guitar controller for the Nintendo Wii. It is easy to fit on and is fun to jam with. If you're a hard core fan of Guitar Hero, I absolutely recommend it if you want a way to say either Jump!!, the way David Lee Roth used to, or just a hard core fan of rocking out loud.

The controller cover arrived as notifed and fit exactly as described. It turned my Wii guitar into Eddie Van Halen's Frankenstein. I was very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone that bought the most recent Van Halen Guitar Hero CD.

Well, not much to say except now my guitar looks like Eddie Van Halen's and that's pretty cool. I grew up listening to Van Halen so this game is a must for any VH fan and a fan of Guitar Hero.

Never played Guitar Hero before. Van Halen is my all-time favorite band. Got the new Guitar Hero VH game. Couldn't believe I could get a faceplate that looked exactly like EVH's frankenstein guitar. But to my horror, they wouldn't ship it to Canada! Good thing I have friends in the US. They received it, re-sent it to me and now I have my faceplate. I'm not to be denied!!! Anyhoo, faceplate is great!

The faceplate for the Wii controller is great. Nice detail to look like Eddie's "Frankenstrat". Easy to install.
