Almost fits
I wanted a skin because my netbook has a glossy top which shows finger prints, etc., very easily. I got this design because it could be easily trimmed if I needed to without affecting the overall design.

This was easy to place on my netbook and even easier to remove so I could put it on straight! :-) It makes my netbook unique and fun to carry around!

I wanted a skin because my netbook has a glossy top which shows finger prints, etc., very easily. I got this design because it could be easily trimmed if I needed to without affecting the overall design.
I should have measured the height of my netbook. If I did, I most likely would not have purchased this item. I did measured the width and knew I had to cut off part of it. I just needed the height to be at least 7". Since it wasn't, I had to center it. A bit more of the cover is shown at top and bottom than I like.
I'll most likely continue to hunt for a skin that will cover the entire top. This was good for the price compared to the others.
Putting the skin on was easy. Cleaned the cover well. It's a lot easier to trim the skin using a blade and a straight edge. Though I needed to use scissors to get a rounded corner. To make your skin lay flat at the corners where the cover slopes down, cut a 45 degree slit in the corner. Press one side of the cut and then the other side. The cut will overlap. If you're real good, you can try cutting the overlap portion. I was not that daring.

cover did not fit entire top of netbook , looks like crap because u can see the edges that are not covered, suppose to fit 10" and did not. Not satified at all.

I love this idea and i think it can get better but i didnt like the decal that my daughter chose for her netbook. It looked like a giant sticker on the computer and you have to cut it for size. If it's 10.1 inches, why not just pre cut for size? I think overall people will like this item.

This is the perfect solution to keep fingerprints off of your slick netbook. I love it. It is also easier to hold on to my netbook.

This was a well-researched purchase and a painful one financially since I am a full-time student with no income.
I have a brother who is a Caltecher as well as technically-inclined (and he is most helpful for consultation for these kinds of purcahses) and he confirmed that this Netbook is the best on the market.
I am so thankful that I bit the bullet and purchased this. This Netbook is awesome. The battery lasts for at least 12 hours and I can, and have, gone for days without recharging. I keep this Netbook in my purse and it is quite handy. I use is for schoolwork, notes, assignments, blogging, and whatever piddling I like to do.
I probably could go on and on about the technical capabilities of this Netbook, but I am not that savvy when it comes to the inner workings of this product. But it is fantastic.
If I had to complain about anything, it would be that I can't change the wallpaper. But that is a stupid complaint given all of the capabilities of this gadget. You will be very pleased with this product. If you are a big blogger, writer, or online surf junkie and want something handy to bring around with you, you can't beat this product.
I do recommend buying a Netbook protector with this product. It is small and very light, so it can easily be thrown around. Especially, ladies, if you keep it in your purse and tend to toss your purse around.
