Great Pointer
Worked as expected, as a USB mouse under ubuntu linux with no problem. Green laser pointer was plenty bright and worked even in a large lecture hall. Only complaint is that the clicking doesn't seem to talk to the computer until some magical combination of things is done; not clear what the issue is, but likely a linux-only issue. I had only been using this for 15 minutes when it died. I just got it in the mail yesterday and it died today. This is completely rediculous! I had ordered another a few weeks ago and it too died after a couple of weeks. I thought this may be just one defective product. I like the green laser pointer, it flips slides well, so maybe give the company another try. NEVER...

The pointer is small and easily fits into your hand. It works well directly with PowerPoint and when using a PowerPoint presentation in LiveMeeting. The green laser light shows up very well. A really nice tool.

Really good presenter. The red color is edgy, the green laser is nice, and the carrying case is great. It's nice that I can just plug it into my computer and start my presentation. Haven't really tried the mouse function yet, but it seems like it would be convenient if I'm on the other side of my lecture hall. The only issue I've had with it is that the buttons click quite loudly, but it just encourages me to speak louder during class.

Came quickly as usual with Amazon orders, installation could not have been easier, great looking and easy to learn and use, intuative, the case is great plus so I can keep the batteries out until I'm using it, functionality better than just a pointer mouse. Nice to see the innovation and thought put into the whole package and the green laser is sharp and crisp. Highly recommended.

I bought a presentation gadget from another company (Targus) and it only allowed me to advance slides. It didn't have the mouse function or laser pointer. The Smart Pointer did everything. It was easy to use and allowed me to "mouse" over during PowerPoint presentations to activate external video players. The bright green laser is also useful during my bimonthly Power Point presentations. Love the product and I use it at least twice monthly. As an added bonus, the red presenter matched my Dell 17" XPS computer quite well. Added just that little extra sense of professionalism to my presentations.

I absolutely love this presenter's mouse with laser pointer. The green pointer really does make a difference and the size is bigger and more visible to students. I love that it switches between software applications so easily. It is really lightweight and easy to use. The distance that it works at is amazing. I am so happy that I bought it over some other models that were less expensive because it is worth every penny. This item is top notch.

Extremely happy with all aspects of the transaction. Of the MANY wireless pointers / slide advancers I have tried and / or used over the years this one is by FAR the best. Can't imagine an improvement for this device!!!
