5.0 out of 5 stars A BOOK THAT LIVES UP TO ITS TITLE!, November 25, 1997
This review is from: The revolt of modern youth, (Americana library, AL-28) (Hardcover)
A must read for anyone concerned with welfare reform, teenagers, domestic violence, teen pregnancy, or women. This no-holds-barred expose from the roaring twenties was written by a family court judge from Colorado, back when Americans first started facing up to the consequences of young people carrying on in the rumble seats of their roadsters ... Judge Lindsey's commentary covers the problems of financial support for unwed mothers, the unavoidability of sexual awakening in young people, his approach to avoiding sexual harassment charges, and much more. This book is more relevant than ever-- I suspect it's been forgotten because it it was too darn frank for grandma to discuss with us young folks!
