This was a gift for my father who was quite a good friend of Monsier Terrail over the years. My father's French is minimal but he was ecstatic about the book and its many, many wonderful photographs, beginning with Terrail's birth and youth. He was quite an interesting and accomplished man and he became synonymous with 'Paris'. Any fan of Paris who knows La Tour d'Argent would enjoy this book I think....being somewhat fluent in French would be a plus as well.
