This is a wonderful CD. Jazz at its best. I enjoyed it.have so many CDs that I have only listened to this twice, but highly enjoyed it.

I highly recommend this. I have enjoyed Stan Get's music for 20 years and I would rate this among his best. Ditto for Oscar Peterson.

I have several of Alan Weiss' books on Consulting. He is an excellent writer, though he tends to repeat some of the information across several books. I would.highly recommend his books to anyone who wants to become an Entrepreneur in the business world.

The writing style could be better. Some interesting information which I was not aware of. Very Libertarian in its perspective.

This is a very well written, comprehensive overview of Earthquake engineering as applied to buildings and bridges. There is also a very well prepared series of Power Point slides that you can download to augment the discussion in the book. For either college professors or practicing engineers, who have the need for understanding seismic behavior of structures, I highly recommend this book. I am a practicing civil-structural engineer, and I would say this book is written at the level of beginning graduate student or advanced undergraduate student. Well worth the price.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have older editions of this book but they are in storage at the moment. Concise, and easily readable, provides solutions that are within engineering tolerances / accuracy for most types of problems encountered in the real world. Typically simpler than using the computer for small problems, or for preliminary design to later build a computer model for more accurate analysis.

The book appears to be a very thorough introduction to the subject. I am glad I purchased the book, and have read about 110 pages or so. I would recommend this as a good introduction to the Revit program and its capabilities for production of structural engineering designs.

I have only scanned the book, but have not yet had a chance to read it. So far, it looks quite good.

On initial review the book appears to be an excellent overview of the Finite Element Analysis method for solving complex engineering problems in a reasonably simplified manner. I have only read one chapter so far, and scanned the rest, but would say that the book appears to be a very practical and results-oriented treatise, geared toward working profesional engineers who need practical applications rather than extensive theory. For my purposes, I believe it was a wise purchase.

The author of this book has done a fine job of showcasing recent modern architectural projects of interest to the general population, as well as to architects and structural engineers working in the profession. I am a structural engineer, and I purchased the book because two of my friends, and one of their projects, are featured in the book. I also happened to work on that paticular project, and was interested in having a published record of the project along with my own project files. The book is well written, has wonderful photographs, and is a fine addition to the genre of "coffee table architecture books". Mr. Jodidio is to be commended for writing this book.

This book is fairly well written. I noticed a few typos / factual errors, but that tends to be true of a lot of technical books that are published nowadays. I think the technical content of the book has been worth the purchase price. The book covers a variety of general technical issues related to the construction of tall buildings, sometimes on difficult site conditions. A good overview of the subject. Tends to focus primarily on structural engineering issues, which as a structural engineer myself, I appreciate.

This is a great CD. Very moving, but yet relaxing music. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone who loves 'classic', jazzy, guitar music.
