This review is from: scotland a new history (Paperback)
This is the book by MICHAEL Lynch (I checked the ISBN). I don't know why AMAZON has it listed the wrong way.

But it's a very good and useful text, accurate and well-researched.

4.0 out of 5 stars Can't Fight Fate, April 3, 2011

(REAL NAME)
'Scotland' achieves its objectives, but makes for a daunting tomb. This exhaustive book makes for a flat, dry, cold tour of the realm; but if you can bring to it the free attention and channelled concentration of the kind of decentralized mind that relates directly to the topic in hand, you'll quickly vacuum it up.

Also, the secular spiritualist would have to say, that there really is a bit too much on the goings on of the various Christian churches, especially as there just happen to be newer churches around nowadays that know a little bit more about God than we used to (with the possible exception of Scientology), as we move into the Age of Aquarius (and the Reign of Avatars).
