Excellent rack
This rack works great for holding and carrying items. It's all steel...This will work well with bikes that have shocks. The older style racks don't have room for flexibility... This rack attaches easily and is very sturdy. I am very happy with it. A+++

A Picture is Sometimes Worth More Words than Reality Affords
Hi. I bought this thinking the body was aluminum by looking at the picture. Well, it is polished silver painted plastic supported by metal tubing. The plastic cover for the clamp came partly broken at the latch. Looks like a returned item re-wrapped and sold (only my guess). This looks too much like a toy and not fit for adult duty. Good for bike with suspension like mine. Very happy with product and useful for carrying stuff (coat, lunch, etc.)

As the title shows,I am very pleased with this purchase. I bought this specifically for my dual purpose mountain bike & needed a seat post mount type of rack to let the suspension work. As to features/extras, comes with a heavy duty bungee cord strap that runs full length of the rack. In the center of the rack running length is a removable cover to gain acess to your mini air pump(not included). My TOPEAK air pump fits here & won't fall out even off road, but rattled some. Fixed that by wrapping a rubber band around handle. In the back is a hinged cover with included tire levers & patches with room to spare. Held a 40 lb cooler of groceries already. Strong seat post mount at front under grey plastic cover. LARGE rear reflector 3 times the size of my old one. Quality product Highly recommended. I'm buying another for my backup bike.
