Some people can use solid shampoo without lauryl/laureth sulfates, and others can't. This didn't work for me--it left my hair coated, even after rinsing with vinegar.

This is no different than using regular bar soap on your hair. My hair was stripped and felt like straw after using this product.

This was my first time trying a shampoo bar and I was skeptical that I could develop a good lather with it. It took very little time to adjust my habits to the change from liquid shampoo and now I won't go back. The bar works just as well as liquid shampoo but a bar lasts much longer than a bottle and because it is lighter the shipping costs are lower and requires less fuel so it is cheaper to distribute and there is a lower carbon footprint. Try it.
