I can say without a doubt these are the best canisters I have ever purchased. I am a college student and my boyfriend and I are very much "foodies." When we noticed our canister set from Bed Bath and Beyond wasn't working out so great, we went on a hunt for some new ones. I did a lot of research and I looked all over Amazon and I found almost all the canisters that Amazon offers, many customers complain that the seal is not tight enough. Well, my boyfriend and I love Williams Sonoma and these are offered there. I looked them up on Amazon and they don't have reviews so I hope mine will be helpful for anyone searching for some new canisters. We purchased 4 of the large canisters and yes, they are a bit on the pricey side, but if a broke college student can purchase them, so can you! You will NOT regret this purchase. The large canisters fit 5 pound bags of sugar, flour, etc. We use ours for granulated sugar, brown sugar, wheat flour, and A.P. flour. They are fingerprint proof which is nice! The back of the canister is flat so they do not awkwardly take up space on the counter; they fit nicely against the wall which is SUCH a plus! Opening these canisters is a breeze, all you do is press a button and it opens. When you open it up, everything just looks sleek and nice. There is a plastic container inside that the flour/sugar/whatever goes in which is nice because you can dishwash them. Closing the lid takes a bit more effort than opening it, but I do not find it hard. It seals tight, however I have not done a test such as filling it up with water and turning it over or anything like that. Overall, a pricey product but WORTH every penny.

I do not actually own a Small Canister but I wanted to post my review of the large so you could get an overall idea of the product. The Small will hold 1.5 L and the dimensions are 7.5D" x 4.3W" x 7.1H". The Large in comparison holds 4 L and the dimensions are 9.3D" x 5.8W" x 9.5H". Obviously, there is a big difference in size as well as a large price difference. The Small Canister is supposed to fit 50 tea bags. So, I imagine if you're a tea drinker, or even a coffee drinker, this would be a great addition to your kitchen! Coffee beans would fit nicely in here as well. So, although I do not own a Small Canister, the quality of the product does not change just because I have a different size. I love these canisters and I'm sure whatever size you get you will be happy with.

This cannister is exactly what it says it is. Easy to open and close and has a liner that is removeable and easy to wash. Doesn't show finger prints at all and wipes clean if you spill anything on it without having to polish marks off where it was handled. Very well made and stylish looking out on the counter.

Keep my coffee beans in it
Holds a pound of whole beans with several inches of extra room. Perfect size and looks pretty nice. The liner pulls out should you need to clean it so that's a plus.

small canister
This canister is perfect size to hold coffee. The inside comes out for easy cleaning. I have mine sitting next to the coffee maker.

Perfect container, answers all the issues!!!
