Not only functional but attractive on your countertop, too!,

I have gone through a couple of dishracks before this one which were terrible. They would discolor, were difficult to wash, and were nothing to really look at. They also took up a lot of space on my counter. I love this one, though! It has parts that are dishwasher-safe, removable parts for when you have large platters to place in there, and a section for knives to dry separately from the rest of the flatware. I also love that you can position it vertically or horizontally depending on how much space you have. Both ways have a drainage spout to pour into the sink. The cupholders are fairly strong and are removable which is a plus. Overall, a great product, great quality and very stylish compared to most other products out there.

I never thought I would write a review on a dishrack..so uncool..however, I do not have a dishwasher, and do alot of dishes. I just thought a person had to struggle with poor quality and keep replacing junk. I first saw this in a store for $52 I thought who would be so crazy as to spend this many $ on a dishrack. I, in a fit of consumer madness, bought mine for $39 on Amazon. What a deal. I love it. So don't be hesitant to get one and don't be embarassed to rave about it.

Hi there!
OK, this was the first time i ever spent so much on a dishrack. I have to admit that i was very skeptical but after receiving it and using it, i am convinced that it was money well spent. Its truly a very smartly designed product that is worth its pricey tag. It's tilted upwards in the back so it wont allow water to accumulate which leads to germs & mold and it accomodates dishes, silverware, knives and glasses/cups perfectly all while being spacious and space saving at the same time. Plus it looks good too!

This is the perfect dishrack. The Platonic ideal. All other dishracks strive to be this dishrack.
Seriously though, this is a sweet device. The makers clearly put a great deal of thought into its design and construction. $50 is a lot for a dishrack, but you'll understand once you have it. The KT1025 is a keeper. It'll outlast the five $10 cheapo dishracks you'd otherwise end up going through over the years.

Decent dishrack but not worth the hype!,

I had been looking all over for a drainboard that would allow me to position my dishrack horizontally on my counter instead of vertically but I was unable to find a board large enough to accomodate the needs of a family of four. I purchased this new system largely because of the glowing reviews even though I really only needed the drainboard and was perfectly happy with my old dishrack. I have finally come to terms with the need to keep a dishrack on my counter (at least until my kids move out!) and this looks fine. I personally feel that it is a lot of money for a dishrack and that the design should be flawless for that price. It isn't. The cup holders only feel secure with some of my glasses--they just don't feel stable with all the different size glasses I wash and there are only four of them that lean over the sink. I am not using them because I fear that my glasses will easily be knocked off and break. I primarily wash my everyday glasses in the dishwasher anyway so this isn't a big deal to me. What is a big deal is that the drainboard leaks. There are three covered holes on the drainboard that allow for the change in direction of the system from horizontally to vertically. Water is dripping out from these covered holes...and I have never even uncovered them...and it is pooling on my granite countertops. The more dishes I wash, the more water that leaks and if I wash a lot of dishes, the water slides from the countertop, down my cabinets and pools on the floor. Not good. This did not start happening until after about two weeks of use so I no longer have the box to return it. This dishrack hasn't exactly changed my life the way it seems to have changed the lives of other reviewers! For me, it was basically a trade off between a nicer looking dishrack that is positioned the way I want it and the added work of mopping up the water it leaks.

I really like this special dish drainer yeah it is expensive but it IS worth it!!! i like the knife block having somewhere safe to put knives. i really like the tilt feature it helps prevent water from sitting in the tray and rusting the rack i am impressed that it does get all the water out. the dish drainer is easy to clean. the dish drainer is pleasant to look at. the dish drainer doesn't take too much space on your counter but does have a lot of room for your dishes. we have been though A Lot of dish drainers and by far this is the best dish drainer we have had.

I splurged on this dish rack because of the glowing reviews. . . I like this dish rack as well as its other reviewers. It is very well designed and attractive as well. Someone put some thought into creating this product.
Now I see there is also a larger size (extra large), which includes an upper layer. . . I think I would have gotten that if I had known it existed, but this one is very nice.

I hesitated about spending so much on a dishrack, but it's much, much better than my old Ikea model. Highlights...
-Glass/cup hangers on the outside, giving you extra room inside the rack -Spacious. Lots of room for dinner dishes for 4 -Plate holders that really hold (mine used to fall over all the time) -Slanted drainage pan, so you don't get stagnant water under your dishes -Separate knife holder. In addition to the regular cutlery holder, the knife holder separates each knife (point down) to prevent dulling, and cutting yourself

Well, this was very expensive for a dish rack, but I have to admit that it is very well designed. Plenty of space for glasses, cups, plates, nice cutlery compartments, stylish... If you don't mind the price tag (same price everywhere by the way), it's a great buy.

Who would guess that a dishrack could be attractive?! Well, this one is. And lovely is as lovely does -- it holds a tremendous amount, sends the water directly into the sink (as advertised), & is everything it's touted to be!
