This product is amazing! It is the BEST thing ever for stainless steel appliances. What used to take me 30 mins to clean now takes under 5 mins. I have the complete Kitchenaid Architect series appliances (fridge, dishwasher, countertop range, microwave, wall oven, etc.) and have tried numerous sprays, cloths, etc. and NOTHING compares... I can't think of a single downside... it's cheap, it uses water, and it's machine washable. It is an amazing product, I only wish I found it sooner. I bought one for myself and another for a gift. I'll be ordering a couple more for more gifts for the holidays for friends with stainless steel appliances. You will love it!!!

This mitt works great on cleaning smudges, fingerprints and other smears off my very expensive stainless steel refrigerator and other stainless in my kitchen. Very quick, easy and long lasting mitt. Recommend very highly to all. Am coming back to buy more for Christmas gifts.

If you've replaced your old stainless steel sink and see spots when you use this mitt, don't despair. New sinks can have deposits and a film on them. Simply take some Barkeepers Friend (recommended by our professional installers) or other cleaner and make sure your sink is truly clean down to the stainless finish. After that, you should be able to use this mitt without problems.

I nearly wrote a bad review of this one until I cleaned the sink first. I know it may not make sense to clean a new sink before using it or cleaning it again but whatever is used to install some sinks leaves behind residue that will cause streaks. Also, if you have hard water you may not get perfect results.

I LOVE this mitt, though, because it not only works wonderfully on stainless steel but also takes fingerprints off our black cooktops and appliances (the part where people touch the controls and the top of the appliances, basically anywhere there is a black finish). It works as well for that function as cleaning steel. Plus, it can be used again and again. When washing, use the tiniest amount of detergent and hang dry if possible. We bought 3 of these and that is fine to clean the sink before bedtime, wipe off any spots on other stainless steel, etc.

I keep this out and use it a couple times a week to clean those annoying fingerprints and dirt that a certain someone in the house leaves on the door handles and the surrounding area. It works great and I don't have to use anything more than water!

Just dampen one side of the pad and wipe the stainless steel surface along the grain, then turn over and polish, along the grain, with the dry side. Easy as that, and it really works without any cleaners.

Finally the streaks on my fridge (microwave, dishwasher and stove) are gone!! Having made the decision to buy all stainless steel appliances, I didn't realize how streaky they look after being cleaned. Not any more!! This mitt is great, just follow the simple instructions and your appliances will be streak-free.

Just got all new stainless steel appliances and thought I was something....until I spent most of my day wiping off finger prints and smudges on every surface of the appliances. There are so many rules to cleaning stainless steel. Nothing I tried worked until this Simplehuman stainless steel cleaning mitt. It works great and is quick and easy. Now I am back to thinking that I am something with Stainless Steel Appliances!!!

Was a little disappointed in this mitt. It works fine on plain stainless, but on the brushed or textured finishes it takes way too much effort. Nice idea, but not for all stainless.

This does what it says it will do - buffs up the stainless. Very useful (especially because the instruction mannuals for stainless steel appliances all say not to use paper towels because they will supposedly scratch the stainless. Not sure if that's true, but this mitt seems to work well.)

I really like this cleaning cloth, it helps out when the stainless gets slightly dirty. If there are long streaky liquid stains or really heavy soiling on products, it may need some extra help. I use it for normal cleaning, but turn to chemical cleaning when there's a lot of crud on the stainless.

My only tip is to not use too much water. If you get too much water on it, the other side won't soak up enough, and then your appliances get streaky.
