Just not Enough!,

In this video I show you the different features it offers and not. I show how water will pool up near the front right and left corners of the drain tray. The metal wire rack is not stable to the base as is the Waveframe by Simplehuman. I recommend you see my other product video review for the Simplehuman Waveframe Dish Rack. Hope this helps!

Not Rust-Proof,
This review is from: simplehuman System Dishrack with Bamboo Knife Block, Stainless Steel (Kitchen)
Simplehuman are misleading their customers by saying their dishracks are RUST-PROOF. Our System Dishrack developed rust within 7 months of use. We decided to buy this overpriced product because we thought it would last longer than our previous products - boy, were we disappointed.

I bought this for my friend. This item was on her bridal registry at another store, but I found it cheaper on amazon.com. It is great and sturdy and has many different organizers. However, it is very big so make sure you have the counter space before purchasing.

We bought this new dish rack to replace the old one that had hard water stains all over it. Well guess what? Yeah, this piece of crap collects the hard water also. Next time I will pay double if I can find a dish rack that doesnt look like a salt lick after 4 months. This is the exact same as the last simple human dish rack that we had except for the bamboo knife block on it. Except this rack for whatever reason will not use the old racks back cup holders. Ok look at the picture and see the 2 metal cup holders that clip onto the wire frame? Unless your a bachelor who the hell only washes 2 cups? And if the cups are tall and glass, or wine glasses they will fall off in the middle of the night and shatter all over the floor. The bamboo wood block is a joke, dont let the tip of the knife touch the block or it will chip off the "bamboo" and it will look like a particle board wood block. The drainage on it also is horrible. It has to hang over the edge of the sink to drain into the basin, and then you are hitting your hands on the corners. Save money and find something with better storage, no cheap wood blocking, and no plastic that looks like the inside of a disgusting shower in Palm Springs.

This dish rack isn't rust-free and not made of durable plastic.
It broke after few months of using it. They have no replacement.

I bought this item because we do not have a dishwasher [apartment living!] and with the amount of dishes we wash, water was always pooling on the counter or standing in the dish rack. The concept behind this item is that water is supposed to run out through drain holes on to the provided drain piece and then out to the sink. You have the option of mounting it the long way or the short way - so far so good, right? Well, the piece arrived, stylish, as others have stated, but it is not engineered to channel water toward either of the two draining sides. In other words, the water still just puddles up on the bottom and doesn't go anywhere unless you tip the whole thing toward the holes, which is difficult when there are items in it. Further, the attachment that holds two cups or glasses on the side doesn't actually mount; it just sort of hangs on, making it very prone to being knocked off when empty.
I guess the answer is to go out and buy some stick-on "feet" so I can tilt it to the angle I want, which will hopefully make this item do what it is supposed to have done in the first place. Gee, if I can think of that, why can't SimpleHuman?

I am thrilled at how elegant this dish rack looks on my counter & how well thought out it is. The bamboo knife holder is very handy & my dishes, bowls, cups etc fit perfectly. The 2 places for glasses don't work for my short glasses but a water glass would work fine.
I can't believe I had that disgusting, rusty, rubbermaide dish rack right out there on my counter all these years. I hold my head in shame, the darn thing even put some rust marks on my china. Don't be cheap about spending the money, I am so glad I finally did it and am wondering what was wrong with me for not doing it sooner. You'll love this item, silly as that sounds but you will.

I bought this dish rack a few years ago. Love the design from the sponge holders to knife block to place to dry dishes. The only thing I don't like is the bottom tray is held up by plastic tabs in each corner. One tab broke during our move, and now the tray is lopsided, and all the water runs to that one corner. If I put the other 3 tabs down, the tray traps moisture underneath it between the tray and the counter. I'm considering buying a new one and risking it breaking again b/c I like the design so much and can't find anything comparable.

I relied on the reputation of simplehuman and my own previous positive experience, and I am not disappointed by this dishrack. It is well-engineered, holds a lot, is very sturdy, and looks nice. It's not easy to get excited about a dishrack but this one comes pretty close.
