5.0 out of 5 stars human skeleton cards
Human skeleton cards work like good ol' learning cards of addition and subtraction. Neat idea for halloween party game. Nice gift for kids. Laugh while learning- the leg bone's connected to the hip bone...

3.0 out of 5 stars busy!
Definitely fun as they get everyone talking about the various body part names, however they are not very practical for playing cards because they are so "busy" and it is hard to focus on the suit and card value. perhaps putting the graphics on the back side would be the answer.

Most boys who love skeletons will get a kick out of this. My 6 y.o. happens to be one of those boys, who ALSO has a rather odd interest in pouring over the anatomy and physiology books on our shelves, trying to figure out how this human "machine" (in his mind) works. So this was the perfect gift for him. Even my 8 y.o. who's never shown any unusually high amount of interest in anatomy, thinks these are fun.
The two of them are currently playing a game of War with the cards, giggling over "I used my sacrum to take out your nasal bone!"
Oh the irreverent joy!

These are nice, thick, glossy, high quality cards.

The pictures are clear and bright...easy to learn from.

If I ever had to memorize this information, I would find these valuable for making it easier.

4.0 out of 5 stars Human Skeleton playing cards, December 4, 2011

Pros : The cards are sturdy and glossy. Perfect as playing cards.
Cons : The pictures look 'grainy' and even the background color (blue and black) looked 'washed'. I expect to get a clear and defined picture of each bone.

I think a good little item. What you see is what you get. Highlight of the bone and it's name. I think for stimulating young brains, it is just fine.
