The game is very addictive. It's fun to play and easy to learn. Plus its Sonic. The game has a fair amount of characters and zones to run in. Trust me, it's good.

Want another racing game that's up to the standards of Mario Kart? This is it! As some reviews have said about the pros: 24 tracks, great drift, tricks & weapons, and each car has a special move. Lots of challenge games, missions, etc for the single player. My only downside is there's no "Team Racing" as in Mario Kart, with more racers on the track. Every race is a single race. But my 9-year-old son loves it. Other than that, go out and buy it.
Super Super Super fun, however this game is a little bit expensive, it worth it at this price. My friends and I love to play this game, because it has a lot competitions for us to choose and play, we can play the same game with mutiple players. But you need to have many controls to play if you want to play with friends.
Spot on emulation and save states certainly equals 5 stars in my book! Aside from eagerly anticipating Volume 2, I can't think of anything lacking from this collection!
Simply stated, superb... the first review captured most of what I want to relay about this, so I won't belabor the situation.

This game is a challenge for me since I am not an expert at games at this type. I do enjoy it and I'm getting better at it - with much practice. For the pros, this game is a lot of fun.
Great game! Keeping the kids busy and smiling. My son loves the Sonic characters. I even picked it up yesterday and played with him. Fun and not so hard mom couldn't play.

I don't know why people may not like this game cuz I thought it was very fun better than the original angry gran and better then temple run nothing about this game is bad
It's finally nice to see these games released on a handheld that replicates the original SEGA Genesis perfectly. This collection includes the games Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic & Knuckles with their respective lock-on games as well. The original music is retained.
They did make a few changes which did tick me off:
1. The original multiplayer feature in Sonic 2, 3 and in the lock-on have been disabled. 2. In order to pause the game, you must select pause on the touch screen (can't use debug or cheats). 3. You cannot custom configure the buttons.
Aside from these problems, this is a great port for a portable system (much better than that Sonic The Hedgehog Genesis for Gameboy Advance, which was horrible!). If you wanna take classic Sonic on the go, this game won't let you down.
