It's Charles Grant, February 10, 2007
Anything by Charles Grant is worth reading. Especially wonderful is his Oxrun Station series. There are times when I wish I lived there, and other times when I'm damned glad I don't. Like the others in the series, this novel is scary, but not gory. Very well done horror without the usual King/Barker spewing entrails.

Which Edition ????, January 8, 2010
I was wondering something... I have this book. except it is NOT "this" edition in some way. I was wondering if anyone knew WHICH Ed I have? The one I have is LIKE the one on this page, yet different. First, it has a different cover art to it. The cover art for mine is a campfire on the background and two sprawling barron trees on either side of the cover. One in the foreground the other in background. The books details inside state:

For some reason this book seems like it's this one described here, yet there is different cover art and pages all told. Why is this book not "adding up" to what is listed? The other one's I 've found are the Hardcover's and obviously don't match at all. But this doesn't seem to be "this" one either. What am I missing? I am an avid reader and I usually don't have a problem figuring out books, but this one has thrown me off. Can you please tell me, thanks!
