I am very pleases with this new Kindle case. It is sneaky and discreet and very well put together. I would only wish for it to have an elastic strap on one side to ensure closure. Love it nonetheless!

I actually purchased this to fit my new iPad mini and it fits perfectly! I would recommend this as a regular cover - not one that will prop up for hands free reading.

This cover is so darling. As with many Kate Spade items, the picture doesn't do it justice.

Technically, this is a no-frills item, so gadget geeks might be disappointed. It's just simple straps to hold attach the device to a simple cover. There are no holes for the speakers in the back, you won't miss them because it sounds great...just a little softer. Nothing headphones or adjusting the volume can't fix.

I mostly just love it for the beautiful design: the colors and crossword pattern are lovely. It's a quality cover that feels like a hard-back book wrapped in canvas on the outside. Bonus: it keeps the husband away. (I've warned him if he touches it our cycles will synchronize.)

Some beautiful Kate Spade items aren't worth the $400 plus splurge, but I can pay an extra $20 for a truly lovely cover that I use daily.

This is one of the few kindle covers still available for my generation of kindle. For the price and the name, I would expect it to be more...... useful. There is only rather flimsy elastic to hold the device in and the cover doesn't snap, velcro, or otherwise secure shut. I find myself making much more use of the plain cover (that securely holds my device with expandable plastic clips AND secures shut with elastic) that I bought from a T----t for less than half the price! This Kate Spade cover is pretty but not very functional.

Assumed that when you close the cover your Kindle would automatically sleep. Must shut off manually. The past purchase of covers you just close the cover and your Kindle would shut off. Kate Spade messed up on this one. I guess that is why it was so cheap. The design was a good concept, but that was all, no functionality.

It looks really cool but it's functionality is disappointing. The description "For Fire HD Only" would lead you to assume that the internal holder would be specifically molded for the device and securely hold it in the case. There are four corner elastic straps that TRY to hold it in place.

This case is really cute and protects my Kindle reader well. I like the fact that I still have access to all the ports so I can charge it without removing it. I've gotten quite a few compliments on this, as some have mistaken it for an actual notebook.
