If you sign up for Google Play Music, you can upload your own music to your Play account, and play them through your Chrome browser on most equipment, including Chromebooks. However, you will probably need to create MP3 copies alongside the Apple proprietary format music files (AAC) before you upload, as I imagine Google Play won't play the original AAC versions.
