Method HE free and clear is not completely fragrance free, you can still detect an odor if you put it right under your nose, but you don't notice it in regular use and your clothes do not come out smelling perfumed. I used to use Tide unscented but it still had too much of a fragrance for me. Method is much better.

Method is very very concentrated so a 64oz bottle will wash 64 regular loads. The detergent does an excellent job on all types of clothing and in all water temperatures and rinses out completely (provided you don't put too much detergent in your wash).

If you are sensitive to perfumes you should be alright with this detergent.

I really enjoy this detergent, as it works well on all types of laundry. My main gripe is with the container itself. It doesn't pour right, which results in a lot of excess detergent spilled all over the bottle. Despite this, my laundry always comes out smelling clean and Method's commitment to making environmentally-friendly products at reasonable costs is great for the consumer.

this laundry detergent never ceases to surprise me. so far it has gotten out grease, blood and grass stains without soaking or pre-treating them. i have some clothes i have had for a long time that were starting to get a little discolored and it brought the color back into the clothes. the whites are whiter without bleach or bleach alternative and the colors stay really bright too. every time i throw something in the wash with a stain on it, i see it as a test for this detergent. if it fails i wouldn't spend the money again, but it always comes through! love this stuff!

While previously happy with this product, it seems Method has changed the formula for this detergent (Method confirmed this)and the result is TERRIBLE! It smells like dirty paint!! The picture for this item needs to be changed to reflect then new green bottle which contains the new terrible-smelling formula for the free & clear detergent.

We have been using Method for several years, and love both its terrific performance in cleaning our clothes and its environmental friendliness. Method contains no dyes, no perfumes, and very little water to dilute its cleaning power...it does its job wonderfully and each bottle goes a l-o-n-g way. Try it! You'll never go back to what you're using now.

I am pleased that Amazon offers Method detergent and other Method products as my local stores have stopped carrying them. My family has been using Method laundry products for a few years now and we like the fact that we're not releasing harmful chemicals into the water supply every time we wash our clothes. The Free & Clear is exactly what the bottle says: there are no strong perfumes, dyes, or other irritants.

I knew I would be investing in a front loader so I purchased the 4 bottle case. Worked well in my top loader. Works well in front loader, no problems with sudsing. The free and clear has no dyes or scents which is good. The laundry just smells clean.

Method Laundry Detergent, Free and Clear, is a great "green" detergent, free of perfumes, etc. It is economical and cleans well. The concentrated liquid eliminates the need for huge containers. So handy to order via Amazon.com!!!!

I love Method products! But I miss-read the case pack - thought it was a pack of 6 - but it really is a pack of 4 - in the end, even with free shipping I paid $2 more per bottle then I do at Target.
