This product does not work. I've had tinnitus for about a year now, and all the books I read about it said that pills don't work to help reduce or eliminate tinnitus. But, I was desperate to try anything after other treatments had failed. I tried Ring Stop, taking 2 capsules twice a day for two months, as they recommended. It had absolutely no impact on my tinnitus. There was no reduction in the noise in my ears. This product does not work, it does not reduce one's tinnitus (at least in my experience) and I would strongly encourage you not to waste your money on it, as I did. I wish it would have worked, believe me, but as all the books say--and which I now must disappointingly admit--taking pills will not eliminate tinnitus. My experience with Ring Stop certainly proved that.

Whatever you do... do NOT buy QUIETUS either. THE COMPANY "PREVAL" IS A RIP OFF! SAVE YOUR MONEY for this product. It is probably just a "sugar pill" but you can bet it won't work! The worse part will be when you call for an RMA # to return it. First they will try and string you out past your 30 day guarantee period. Telling you you need to take it for that length of time. Then they will offer you a 50% refund of your purchase price or tell you you'll have to wait up to 60 days for a refund. They you have to pay to ship it back with tracking. Stay away from this rip off company. I will let XM advertising know they should drop them.

I took a double dose, two caps, twice a day for two months as directed. Nothing. Nada. You ask,"Would the same apply to me?" I think so for the following reasons:

There are two groups of ingredients in Ringstop.

The first group is homeopathic preparations. As far as I know there has never been a valid double-blind placebo-controlled study demonstrating the effectiveness of any homeopathic remedy in treating any condition, let alone something as intractable as tinnitus.

The second group of ingredients is a list of minerals, vitamins and herbs, but with no amounts given. No mgs or mcgs. In the supplement industry when someone does this it is usually thought to be "pixie dust". That means the quantities are so small as to be nutritionally insignificant but you can still claim that they are in the product. Even the lengthy brochure inside the box says nothing about the quantities of these ingredients. It does mention that there is no cure for tinnitus though. But I did not even experience a temporary reduction of symptoms.

Given all of the above I am not only disappointed in Dr Bob, I am downright suspicious of him.

It took an excessive amount of time to receive the product. I do not notice improvement with the ringing in my ears.

I took RingStop (3 orders) before I went to the EENT specialist. Not only did RingStop not help at all to relieve my tinnitus, but my visit to the doctor (and subsequent internet research) confirmed that there is no cure for this condition. Perhaps in five or six years it will abate somewhat. So don't spend your money on

RingStop -- it's no cure.

This product was rather expensive and did nothing for my problem. Very disapointed.

I had high hopes for this stuff, so I bought 2 180 cap bottles of it. Sorry to say that it's done absolutely nothing, no benefit, no change whatsoever to my bad tinnitus.

I started having a deep rumbling sound in my head and initially, thought that it was because our neighbors had left some kind of a fan running in their townhouse when they went away. It drove me up the wall!! The sound was only "gone" when I was outside or in the car. I did a lot of research and for a time thought that perhaps it WAS caused by something creating sounds that only a miserable few could hear. (Look online and you'll see what I'm talking about.) THAT made me more miserable as it seemed that there was no way of getting rid of the noise.
I went to an ENT and she checked me out, did some hearing testing and said, "I hear there are some supplements that work for some people". So, I went online and did some more searching. The tinnitus had been going on for almost a year and I was desperate for relief, even just a little relief. I was so sick of hearing sound like a rumbling, idling diesel engine in my head that I thought I could lose it! I didn't, but...there were times I cried.

I had a hard time with any sound in my left ear. On the phone, people's voices were much deeper than normal. Music sounded strange on that side and doing normal household activities, many sounds were louder and grating. Some sounds would reverberate in my head. Some days were worse than others. All with no end in sight, according the the ENT who gave me no real hope...and suffers with it herself!!

Then, I found this product in a health food store. I decided to check Amazon for better pricing and bought some. I took it just like the original bottle said, twice a day, everyday, for 3+ months. You know what?...it worked! Over time (about 2-3 months or so) I noticed the sound got quieter!! HALLELUJAH!!!
Then, I ran out of the product. I thought, that's okay, I'm fine now. But, I noticed that over a few weeks time, the noise had come back. It was just as loud and maddening as it had been! I could hear it even when lying down to sleep. So, I bought some more Ring Stop and took it as directed, again. Over just a few weeks, (it took less time this time around), the sound is so quiet that I'm not sure it's even really there anymore. :)) TAKE IT. GIVE IT TIME. Don't despair!!

I learned a few tricks for dealing with the noise while I waited to see if the product would work.

1. DO NOT LISTEN to the noise. Don't focus on the sound(s). Put on music or TV or white noise of some kind (a fan, ocean sounds, ect.) to turn your attention away from the noise.

2. Learn to relax and enjoy what you're doing and turn your attention elsewhere.

3. Putting the palm of your hand over the "noisy" ear can help stop the sound temporarily.

Don't let the negative reviews prevent you from at least giving this product a good, long TRY! What have you got to lose but the madness?...and gain peace!
