I just wanted to tell everyone that you do not get the wall mount for the hand blender, nor do you get a lid for the beaker. There is also a whisk attachment that may be sold separately. It shows in your manual, but you do not get that either. Otherwise, this blender is excellent and is a workhorse. I live in Israel and this blender works just fine for me with the plugs here being 220v. I make mayonnaise in the beaker with the blender and it is so much better and easier than using a food processor. It always turns out much better with the hand blender. The chopper is excellent and I have chopped up just about everything with it. I also made coconut butter with it using shredded coconut and letting it go until I get butter. If you do not have the money for a food processor, blender, and mixer, this item will replace all of them in the meantime. I do have a food processor, blender, grinder, and mixer now, but I STILL find uses for this hand blender. I have used it for absolutely everything, actually. There is nothing it can't do.

REVISED! I have had this for about a year and a half and the internal parts are stripped. I had to throw it away unfortunately. It was not fixable because the entire inside is plastic and all the gears are all plastic. I don't like to throw things away so I tried to make it work, but it was just junk after about a year and a half. Disappointment because it was expensive... In the States I had an old 1970 workhorse for a hand blender and never ever have I had a problem with that one doing the same as I did with this Braun. Unfortunate!

Bought one of these thinking it was a little overpriced, but the more I use it in the kitchen, the more I realize it was a real good price. Makes baby food in about a minute, mayo in about the same, hommous in a bit more, and the vacuum containers that also came in my "kit" are nice for long conservation of dried goods and hard cheese... I haven't tried other containerizations yet. And above all, it's a snap to clean up (run it a couple seconds in the dish water, and volait!)

BRAUN HAND BLENDER/CHOPPER

After owning a few cheaper units, I sprang for the Braun Hand Blender/Chopper and am very pleased with my choice. While I have mainly used mine for its easy blending-in-the-pot capabilities, I admit the chopper has equal merits, especially when you only need to chop a small quantity of ingredients.

I love being able to immerse the blade right in my soup pot to blend or puree soups and sauces without the mess of getting out my food processor or countertop blender. The blade does a quick job of pureeing and wash-up is a dream. I can't imagine cooking without this handy device.

Highly recommended.

After looking at the many options, I chose this and was very pleased with my choice. The hand blender has good weight so it does not feel flimsy and the chopper works just fine for my needs. I was a little worried about it working in my country as I am from the Caribbean but it works just fine. I haven't had it for long but I would say that I got value for money

Works great! My old Cuisine Art handheld blender broke on me after about 3-4 years. Went with this one, skeptical at first. It gets the job done. Have been using it since July '14, and have no complaints. Definitely one of the better handheld blenders on the market.

Excellent hand blender! Easy to use and clean. We stopped using our clunky counter-top blender.

I got this to use on my travels in the 220v world. It's really convenient, compact, and pretty powerful. The power cord needs to be about 50% longer, imho.

A great design and price. Hopefully it lasts for the years of my traveling adventures...

I have had this blender/chopper/food processor for 7 or 8 years and used it on average probably once or twice a week during that whole time. It still works as well as it did in the beginning and I have never even sharpened the blades! This is a fantastic product! And, it will actually last unlike all the made for TV food processors out there. I wash all parts of it except the electric part of the wand in the dishwasher and it has comletely held up. I use it for smoothies, baby food (on baby #3 right now), homemade salsa, pureeing soups in the pot, grinding light grains (like flaxseed most commonly), etc. etc. etc. One of the best kitchen items I have ever bought. Skip the made for TV crap and get yourself one of these! Seriously.
