Ordered two 56oz bags. They arrived quickly, but most of the candies inside had broken shells, completely shattered shells, or where just reduced down to chocolate covered peanuts. The ones that did not break are coated with an layer of M&M shell shards from their murdered bagmates. Poor fellas had to watch their poor friends and family shatter then were violently dismembered right in front of them, left only to be covered in the skin and guts of those they love.

I love peanut M&M's and buy it all the time. I thought that I could just buy a big bag so I didn't run out but it was not worth it. It's more expensive (and I don't have to pay for shipping b/c I'm Prime), which is okay with b/c it's hard for me to get to the store and I wanted it fast. The 1 star rating is b/c 25% of the candy came crushed and left a mess when I opened the bag. I think that there were melting issues and with the weight, some pieces just cracked. I will not buy again.

This product should be a 5 star overall ,it's average because some ppl ordered this in the summer (not smart) my M&Ms had no cracks in the shells nor were they melted.

I've had three of these large bags of M&Ms for our small candy vender in my business, 25 cents a handful.
All of the bags have gone stale quite quickly, even the backup M&Ms that are still in the sealed bag.
About 1 in 4 tastes like the nuts have gone bad, and that ain't good.
I'm going to have to find something else to put in the vintage vender.

Many of the M&Ms in this bag are fresh.
Many are also stale and awful tasting.
Good M&Ms were mixed with some old M&M to make a huge quantity bag ignoring issues with quality.
If you stick a handful of this candy in your mouth then you might not notice the disappointment. If you like to eat one M&M at a time then you will probably want to spit quite a few of them out!
Do yourself a favor, buy a small bag. If it's bad then you only have 1.5 bad ounces, not 56 ounces of stale candy.

We purchased this for our office. Seem like someone threw the bags around before they shipped them. The bags was intact but the m&m's was damaged. Then, they were not as fresh as a small pack you buy from a store.
We ate them but doubt if we buy anymore.

I love peanut M&Ms. They are my absolute favorite candy.
However, they were shipped to me in a regular envelope with no insulation or padding. And obviously, the candy would either melt, or crush each other. The candy arrived with a combination of that... for how much you would pay for this candy, you'd think there'd be a bit more brains involved with the packaging.

Regardless of the multitude of listings, which are basically different in only three ways: size, price and seller, these are all the same item, so they should get the same review.
M&M Peanuts! Really, who doesn't know M&Ms with peanuts? Pretty, multi-colored candy shells with a layer of chocolate wrapped around a peanut; the Easter edition comes in pastels. Simplicity is good sometimes. Of course, the whole "melt in your mouth, not in your hand" thing, a lie. But a catchy lie.
I like the candies but stopped buying them when my son was a year old because he almost choked on one. Now that he's 19... well, it's time to return to my favorites! Ok, I could've returned earlier, I'm pretty sure he knows to chew his food now. M&Ms are a good old standard for the candy bowl! Hardly worth buying online, unfortunately, considering the shipping charges, but if you can find free shipping or get a deal on that, go for it.
