This is a great bag and a great idea. The dimensions of the suit bag are 20X36", pretty short for a suit bag. Most suit bags are over 40" long. I am 6'4" and I can't fit my suits in the bag on a hanger. Not a major problem, I can just lay my suits in the suit bag section and they will fit. I wish I would have known the suit bag dimensions prior to buying.
Pros:
- Great Idea, can fit my shoes and shaving kit in the duffle
- One bag holds everything for a short trip and is easy to pack and carry.
- Nice material - looks great
- Good construction
Cons:
- Too short for a great suit bag
- Heavy
- Need to unpack to get the suit out - can't just leave it on the dresser and live out of it.

Overall I am very happy with this bag and would recommend it. I would give it 5 stars if it were just a little longer.

This is a unique item. The description does not do it justice. It is BOTH and a garment bag AND (not or) a duffel. First, you lay it flat and put in suits, shirts, etc on regular wire hangers. Then, you zip it up into its duffel form and fill it with the rest of your stuff. It took a suit, two pairs of pants and three shirts in the garment-bag part, all of which arrived with minimal wrinkles. A lot of other clothing (underwear, shoes, ties, etc)--enough for a four-day trip--fit in the duffel. Once it is zipped up, it easily meets the airline's size restrictions. It goes in the overhead with room to spare. All this, in leather, for 36 bucks. Amazing. The only downside is minor--you must carry it; no wheels.

Very nice leather duffel bag, converts into garment bag. Very spacious and great quality leather. The zippers on the sides of the duffel bag don't completely close the side when they meet at the top, but it's secure enough. I got them embroidered with initials for my groomsmen and it was a huge hit. I would highly recommend this item.

The good:
I needed a carry-on sized bag that would fit my suit, two days worth of clothing, and some accessories (toiletries, phone charger, etc). This bag worked great. Fully packed, it fit inside Delta's carry-on bag size checker. Albeit, there was no room to spare, but it did fit and it also fit in the overhead compartments of two different airplanes. This bag is very affordable for being a leather carry on garment bag.

The bad:
As another reviewer mentioned, the duffel area of the bag must be emptied out to get to the suit. Also, the garment bag is slightly smaller than most, but it still fit my tall suit with the hangers removed.

All that said, this bag is an easy, affordable, and good-looking way to carry your suit on an airplane. The two cons I listed are to be expected from a bag that meets the stringent size demands of carry-on luggage. If the bag were made any bigger, it probably wouldn't fit in the carry-on size checker.

I bought this bag to use on business trips where I needed a suit, but didn't want to deal with checking luggage. It accomplishes it's purpose well, holding a suit and still having enough room to hold the rest of my clothes. Also, it fits perfectly in the overhead bins. My only complaint is that the quality of the bag is not that great. Soon after buying it I had one of the zippers malfunction. I was able to fix it, but it took a fair amount of work and frustration. I also don't use mine very frequently (I travel with it ~5 times a year) and I would imagine that with a more intensive travel schedule it would not hold up very well.

I got this for my interviews.
-The garment area is big enough to hold a suit + pants
-the beautiful thing about this is that it zipps up to become a duffel bag that fits tons of stuff.
-I packed 2 shirts,2 undergarments, socks, small iron, dress shoes, towel and many other things, just as i would do for a regular duffel bag.
-The shoulder strap sturdy enough to hold all that weight (greater than 20lb of meterial)
-The bag as a whole sturdy enough for 3 days of bus rides, i squeezed it in the greyhound above the seat bag area.
-zippers have holes so i was able to lock both sides down
-compartements on the side of the bag; from the outside and inside
CONS:
-you have to unload all whats in the duffel to get to the suit and pants
-they don't zip quit well to the end, but zipp sufficient enough, maybe an inch of uzipped length one can peak through inside the duffel

Verdict: nice versatile sturdy bag, would definitely buy again

Aside from being unique, this one of a kind find is the best purchase I have made in luggage in quite some time. It is very manageable and holds everything you'll need for a weeks trip
