I've been enjoying these boots for about a month now and they're exactly what I was looking for. Typical Teva comfort and quality. They do not provide enough support for hiking the Appalachian Trail, but they're sturdy enough for most anything else you'd want to do. Stylish enough to wear most anywhere and look great with a pair of khaki pants or jeans. They don't require any breaking-in period and feel great right out of the box. I think Teva's got a winner with this boot!
They run a bit small, though, so order one size up from what you'd normally wear. I wear a size 12 Teva sandal, but had to return and order a size 13 in the Temple Peak boot.

I Take a size 9 to 9 1/2 when it comes to shoes.Timberland,HI-TEC,Rocky,and CHIPPEWA are size 9.5 for sure and because I have a slightly wide foot these Teva's are great and feel great w/a good arch support.I usualy add a arch support in all my shoes but these feel good with out them.If you can identify with what I'm saying and you take a size 9.5 then you'll want size 11.Size 9.5 is Size 11. I tried the 9s then 10,10.5 and finaly size 11. I could have taken size 10.5 and even though they were just a tiny bit tight,I'm sure they would stretch with a little wear but I did that w/the Timberlands(size9) last year and I had to wear thin socks for awhile untill they stretched out.The inside shoe does not say what it's made of but it's very soft supple leather if you ask me.I did not buy these on amazon but knowing what I know now,I would.

I got these the other day and love them so far. The boots I received look only vaguely like the pictures, they look much better in reality than what the pictures show. I got the Tarmac color because they were very inexpensive and they look great. These boots don't breath very much, which doesn't bother me but may bother some. I sized them up a full size when I ordered at the suggestion of other reviewers, and am grateful for it. I almost could have gone another 1/2 size larger. I normally wear thick socks with any boots that I wear, but with these its not possible with a full size larger. They're very comfortable with normal socks and stay laced so far. I'll soon be taking them on a few walks in Afghanistan so we'll see how I feel about them after.

I've had these boots for about a year now and still love them. I wear a size 13 and yes, these boots do run small. They are very snug when you first get them, almost like a moccasin, but they do eventually stretch out and break in nicely. I've been on several day hikes and wear them every day at work due to the amount of walking I have to do and they are still holding up great. They wouldn't be good for backpacking with a moderately heavy pack, but they are perfect for dayhikes. My old work boots were heavy and these are lighter than some tennis shoes. I'm thinking about buying another pair for when these finally wear out.

My wife brought these boots home to me tonight -- managed to find them for $50 at Marshall's. After literally unlacing them entirely to get them onto my feet, I stood up, and have never felt something so amazing on my feet. I honestly have never felt something that felt this good. It felt like it was made exactly for my foot. I truly truly did not want to take them off my feet and told my wife that I was sleeping in them. Teva is just so amazing. 15 years ago, I bought two pairs of Teva sandals at Marshall's for $10 each, and one of the pairs broke just last year -- and I still have the other pair. But, I digress... This boot blows me away!
