This panini maker is awesome. Weighs a ton but that is because you get two solid cast iron grills top and bottom. This is heavy duty stuff. However, it does not take up more space than a regular grill because it is taller, not necessarily wider. After reading the reviews about snap on grills of others and losing heat top/bottom, there was no way I was going to chince on a non-commercial grill. This is the only way to go.

I purchased this for use in our very busy café. It is a high quality product and feels like it will last for a very long time. It makes great grill marks in our paninis. For our install, I had a new dedicated 20A circuit run. Has been chugging along for 14 hrs a day for many months. Highly recommend.

I owned a Griddler before this and it was ok for home use EXCEPT when the coating began coming off of the aluminum grill plates. I wanted cast iron grill plates. This Panini grill has cast iron plates (require seasoning) and a dedicated circuit but that aside it will be a lifetime investment.
I use my Panini grill as an indoor grill for way more than just sandwiches. I grill chicken breasts, beef and anything else I desire. Well built, HEAVY 45 pounds, well designed drip pan, and ample heat for anything you would desire to cook.

Tis unit works great only thing is the size is a little smaller than quoted on site. But it will hold 3 wraps or 3 paninis. Used in a very busy deli and it does the trick.

When this product works, it cooks great. However, this item draws WAY TOO MUCH power. Not only did this pop breakers in a commercial kitchen (with nothing else on the circuit), but it tanked the food truck's brand new 7000W / 30A (per circuit) generator.

Item was returned for refund.

We have a small restaurant and our panini press bit the dust. I ordered this commercial grade press hoping it would last longer. It fits in the same spot as the older one which worked out well and so far it has worked great. I would recommend this press to anyone that plans on making more than the occasional grilled item.

Used commercially in our restaurant. The item is used to make Panini's and thus far has been a great asset. No problems yet nd it has been in use a couple weeks. Good quality and compact enough to fit in a smaller areas.

Great Product. Got it yesterday and had some delicious "Paninies". Is very expensive but you will only had buy one of this for life, "you get what you pay for". The Price in amazon is the best and can't be beat, I looked everywhere for about 3 months. Warning, is very heavy. Shipping took about a week with standard shipping and am very happy.
