It would be extremely convenient to get this set for your first master cleanse. The items are all correct to maximize your results, and it takes much of the guesswork out of the equation for beginners. My only issue is that similar items can be purchased somewhere like Whole Foods for far less, around $40 individually. Still, beginners who are unfamiliar with what to buy could do far worse than this set.

I did The Master Cleanse for 10 days about 6 months ago and I can tell you it really works. I felt great! I am now living in an extremely remote place and tried to do this again but failed after the first couple of days, but I think it was because I wasn't using the prescribed ingredients. I couldn't find Senna tea, so I used laxative pills. I had sea salt, but not the right kind, and I also didn't have Grade B organic maple syrup, just regular Grade A. I am wanting to try this again, so this time I'm ordering this kit, which seems like a fair price since it includes everything you need. Only thing I have to say about this kit is that you could probably use more like 80 oz. of syrup, not 64.

Overall, give this cleanse a fair shot and I promise you will not be disappointed!

I did the Master Cleanse for 20 days and this kit had everything I needed for a great price and at Amazon's very low shipping cost it was a great deal. These are the highest quality products recommended and while you may certainly deviate, I chose to follow the advice of thousands of others (catalogued in Peter Glickman's book, Lose Weight, Have More Energy & Be Happier in 10 Days) who had already done the Master Cleanse. You may find these products in high quality health food stores in big cities (though probably not at this package deal!). I live in a rural area and so obtaining these items online was more convenient for me.

Gave it 3 stars because it does have everything you need. Gave it only 3 bc it's way overpriced - when I did my cleanse I bought all the same ingredients (exactly the same - brand and all) from my local Whole Foods and spent $55. Bought the book at Barnes and Noble for $11 - a total of $23 less than this "kit". Nice inflation.

I have done the master cleanse diet and yes it works but its a shame how people overprice items. Do some research on your own, you can find the HOW TO's on this diet all over the Internet. The products all together will run about 20-25 dollars. You can find in any health food store or vitamin shoppe and grocery store. Just make sure you use the grade B Maple Syrup. Google lemonade diet or master cleanse to get all the free reading material you want and also visit youtube for free instructional videos about this cleanse and many more. In this economy its important to spend wisely and save where ever you can. GOOD LUCK!!!

I can't believe that anyone would pay $70 for some tea and maple syrup that you could purchase at Whole Foods or any organic coop for no more than $20???

Save a ton of money and buy all of these ingredients at a whole foods store, or Harris Teeter. Very over priced.

I have been an avid follower of the Master Cleanse for years, I do it about once or twice a year. Like many other reviewers on here I have to say... don't bother buying the kit. It is seriously overpriced. Each of these items can be purchased at natural food stores, like Whole Foods, or even many natural food sections of your local grocery store. Granted the maple syrup will be pricy, but all of these ingredients together are well under $70. I advise you to buy the MC book, read it through before starting, and find an MC support group online... there are several. They are wonderful to offer advice and help newcomers through difficult times so you know what to expect and don't have to do it alone.

I start my next Master Cleanse in 2 days. I have Peter Glickman's book Lose Weight, Have More Energy & Be Happier in 10 Days and I follow it down to the letter, including using these kits. We have enough going through our mind when doing the Master Cleanse and the book combined with the kits means that's a lot less to think about. It's awesome and I recommend both.

I did the Master Cleanse a few years back. I had to get the ingredients from several sources which increased my shipping fees significantly.
Great idea to have all the ingredients for the Master Cleanse in one place. Great for beginners! You won't make mistakes by having the wrong
items for your cleanse.
