There are several models of Earth shoes that I cannot wear. There are lots of other brands I can't wear either. However,I gave the Puertas a try this year. This is my second pair which I was lucky to find on Amazon. It is the first summer I could wear sandals and not have to wear sneakers with 2 arch supports to stand in a store. I did have to build my time as they direct, but as my tendons stretched out I was walking and even doing light jogging on trails with my dogs. It may be nothing for some people but for me it is a miracle. I would love it if they made it in a Gladiator style with no back strap next year but keep that great arch support and rubber bottom. An immense bargain given that they help my feet and back more than the many orthotic sandals out there. Three thumbs up to Amazon and Kalso Earth Shoes.

I really like the look and feel of these sandals. Unfortunately, they seem to run about a half size too large. The heal strap doesn't adjust and it was too long to fit my foot. Additionally, the toe length was about a 1/2 inch too long so the ridge that is supposed to be right under the 'toe arch' landed under my toes instead. If it weren't for that ridge, I could probably make these work. But I think that my toes landing on that ridge constantly would be like walking on pebbles. Too bad because I really wanted to wear these.

I found these very uncomfortable, rigid, with pokey things in the bottom. I felt like the princess & the pea, they just bothered me so much I had to send them back! The insole seems to be made out of a rigid plastic or something, not the leather insole or gelron they usually carry.
