After shooting several families, children, and adults on this paper; I can safely say that rolled paper is the easiest backdrop to use in the studio. No wrinkles, easy to transport, and no setup! This color is a nice deep gray, allowing skintones and bright colors to just pop in the image! Highly recommend!

There isn't much I can say about this other than it's perfect! The color is solid, the paper grade is thick so it doesn't wrinkle and it's very easy to mount and work with. I've tested this with speed lights and continuous lighting and the paper looks great!

This particular size is great for portraits and single person photos. You can kinda squeeze two people in, but it's really pushing it. If you're looking to shoot more people than a single portrait get a bigger size of paper.

THIS IS THE BEST BACKGROUND PAPER MONEY CAN BUY!

If you have and/or need any photo background, this one is it. It should be the fist in every photographer's arsenal. By using this grey you can easily blend any other background graphic into your photo. Works wonderfully with hair/fur shots. This is the go-to background that you can leave unlit and turn black or light it up for almost white. Works well with all skin tones and colors. I will always have a Thunder Grey in my studio.

The color is great for a neutral background, but it's very hard to edit to look uniform. Shadows appear easily, and a set of pics is hard to look uniform because any slight change in light alters the color a lot in the photo. Either way, I love it, and it's one of my staple colors for seamless.

If you never purchased backdrop paper, make sure you get your tape measurer out and figure out the right size for your room / studio and what you are trying to accomplish. You will probably lose about a foot or two as he tape holding the paper together is really stuck on there. No worries, you have 34 extra feet. I would recommend picking up a retractable wall or ceiling mount for these rolls, move away from the stands that get in the way and can damage the paper when you take the roll off to switch to another color. You can easily make this background dark grey to black with no back light and enough distance from your subject and the backdrop, or almost light grey with strobes on it. A lot of options.

For decades Savage has been the background paper brand name of choice among professional photographers. Though the bulk of my photography career is behind me, when I do studio work requiring a backdrop Savage Seamless is probably in the background..

Savage background papers I received were delivered in a box-within-a-box. Packaging was so good it bears mention with a product where small defects (dents, creases, marks) can render the product useless.

I have used the 53" and 107" rolls of Thunder Grey Savage seamless background paper to photograph products and for portraits. The neutral grey color works well with a wide variety of light and dark products and skin tones. This is a darker grey tone than Fashion Grey which I have moved to as It can better make colorful items really "pop".

A side benefit of Thunder Grey is how the color can hide a slight amount of dirt on the surface. The same hint of soiling would scream out in a photo on super white or black savage papers. This can save time and money by not needing to reset a scene.

The paper perfect for backgrounds on tabletops. it is heavy and holds a smooth curve when draped onto a bench for small products which is just what I want. On a turntable (for 360 views photo sequences) it can drape just right off the edge.

Savage papers are perfect on turntables. When using a turntable for photographing frames for a 360 degree sequence Thunder Grey can overhang the turntable with just the right amount of sag on the overhang. This makes it easy to create the illusion that the product is floating in space or sitting on an unending grey surface.

This simple product is perfect for the photographic backgrounds it is made for and more.

In a pinch I've used Savage Paper as a window shade during renovations some years ago! A simple thing well made for a purpose and useful for much more. It deserves 5 stars.

Use it in every shoot now! It's durable, it's short enough to throw it into the trunk of my car and I still haven't cut a piece off it - no scratches, no folds. It is a great backdrop, especially for this price!
