These earphones worked great for the first several months, but after a few months of ownership, I tried to remove one of the ear hooks and the earbud piece broke off in my ear, exposing the wires and generating a substantial, painful shock. Customer support characterized the breakage as a user error and refused to replace the earphones, even though it is clearly the result of manufacturer defect from poor construction. There are many more durable options available at a lower price point.

I have had these for roughly 2 months. They never stayed in my ears while running from the very beginning. I tried all of the included tips and then spare tips from old ear buds. The left earpiece has lost all volume (very teeny tiny sound comes out) in the past week. Definitely do not recommend. The sound quality also wasn't that great to begin with, but I just needed music to concentrate so that wasn't a dealbreaker, but losing sound in the earpiece only after two months without actually doing any physical damage to them is.

The quality of the sound was not as good as I expected. I mainly purchased the headphones for the fact that they went around my ear for when I run. That part works fine. But the sound adjuster on the cord also did not work.

i bought these for almost $50 and they lasted less than 2 months. first.. the sound was not nearly as good as i expected, i've had better luck with the $15 gummy sets. after 3 weeks the right ear piece fell apart while i was doing sit ups. i hadn't touched them and all of the sudden they broke apart in my ear. i was able to super glue it and it worked fine. then 2 weeks later the same thing happened with the left ear piece while i was running. again i glued it together but the fix didn't work as well. now the sounds goes in and out on the left side. i did use them daily but i always was very careful to stow them in the case bag they come with and made sure to take care of them. i did like the split option cord allowing for a short or long cord if desired. that alone is not enough to want or recommend buying these headphones. save your money and get something else.

I liked the sound quality on these; good bass and nice noise blocking.

The position of the controller/microphone isn't great as the bulk gets caught on my shirt/jacket collar all the time. It also doesn't spool very well since the extender connection and remote make for a large volume when tying it to put away.

The volume doesn't work on android but the play/pause/call button does. All buttons work on the ipad and macbook pro.

Good for running. I've retired these from daily use.

This headset has been a waste of money. After 4 or 5 uses one side of the headset stopped providing audio and no longer functions. The volume control and track skip function that is situated on one of the cables works inconsistently, but mostly is unresponsive so I have ended up needed to use the controls on my iPhone to manage playbacks. While it looks good, I won't be going back to Philips for another 'sports' headset.

I got these for my Christmas in 2010. They fell apart in January. Philips respected their warranty and sent me a new pair. These lasted longer, but broke in exactly the same place in November 2011 (the right earpiece fell apart, like the other reviewer). Philips replaced them again. On the latest pair the volume controls don't work 100% of the time.

I give up. I've asked for some Sennheiser's this year.

I've had these for about a year - never had a problem, wear them at the gym 3 or 4 days a week, travel with them, everything. They are wonderful. I think the sound is excellent for a workout - I bought them for the gym so I didn't expect Bose quality. I'm really surprised at all the bad reviews. This is the best headset (for exercise) that I've ever owned.

Just got this headset. Fitts perfect.I have small ears , the earhook feels very comfortable. sound can be better for Philips. I tried sony wireless, JVC sport, all not even clouse to the fit of the Philips.
