Our 5 year old daughter loves Lego Friends. She first saw them at a friends house and was instantly obsessed with them. We purchased a set for Christmas and it was a big hit. We decided to add this set to expand her collection and she loves it.

The LEGO Friends Heartlake Flying Club Play Set comes with 195 pieces. It includes the Stephanie character and a Seaplane and Pier to dock the plane. It has a little building and a few accessories. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow for a 5 year old. The recommended age is 6-12, but a 5 year old will only need minimal help with it.

One point of caution. I have found that the average per piece price of the LEGO Friends sets are around 10 cents per piece. That is the going rate from WalMart/Target or when Amazon is the seller. Some secondary Amazon retailers sell the Friends sets for much more. We purchased this set at WalMart for just under $20. Make sure to shop around.

Long story short, this is a great addition to your LEGO Friends collection. Highly Recommended!

Had bought this at LegoLand and looked forward to building it with my daughter. (Who turns 6 in a few weeks). We stretched out the building into two sessions to make it more exciting for her. The instructions were very easy for an adult, and were simple enough that with direction, my daughter could follow along and find the pieces. She was able to find the pieces and follow the instruction booklet to put the pieces together (with her Dad's help). After we put the 3 pieces together, the plane, and ticket office, she was started playing with it and using it with out non lego characters. I really liked that she could build it and felt it was a great toy. I plan, one day to take it all apart and let her build it all over again. The set comes with a few extra tiny pieces. This is a great toy, even on the young end. Good job, Lego.

My granddaughter loves the lego friends heartlake flying club. She is six years old, and did not have any trouble putting this lego together.

The lego came on time with no damage to the packaging. The product itself was assembled by my 9 year old in less than an hour. She loves the set.

I got my girls (6 and 8 years old) these for Xmas this year - Couldn't have made a better choice. This is the only toy ever that have kept them busy for more than 30 minutes. I want some of my own now :D Fun thing for Dads and daughters for sure.

LEGO kits are just great and healthy fun for kids as well as many even the not so kids anymore. This is an especially great value which is no longer being produced.
