This lunchbox is slightly small than the lunchboxes I grew up with as a child. It doesn't come with a thermos, and the camelbak half-size water bottle I pack in it is slightly wider (millimeters) than the box, but the box can be shut. Water bottle has to be packed length-wise, so a sandwiches need to be halved to fit in the box.

Mom's experience: This is not the sturdy metal lunchbox that I remember from childhood. In fact, it arrived with a spot on the lid near the latch actually dented in - but I was easily able to push it back into proper postition. The metal is thin and malleable - if you were to sit on it it would be crushed flat. The capacity is not large if used as a real lunchbox. I couldn't fit more than one or two containers with food inside. Soft sided things like baggies fit better. (if you force the top closed over something too big you WILL dent the top!)...and of course my child wants to use this as a regular lunchbox!
Child's experience: She is very excited to have this Frozen lunchbox and likes it very much. She knew there was a chance she could get either of the pictured boxes - but she did end up with the one she liked most, which was an added joy. The picture is clear and bright, nice artwork on all sides. She wanted it and bought it with her own money, so it's all good : ) It will be a useful container for lunches or just storing other things.

The item arrived yesterday and I had the happiest little girl in the world. This morning she dropped the lunch box before school and the handle broke off. Now I have the saddest little girl in the world. Handle is made like a cheap POS. Made to be sold in the dollar store and then not worth a dollar. Also was smaller than expected..

This is exactly what you would expect a metal tin lunchbox. Nothing comes with it and its not extra sturdy but will work out just fine

It's nothing special. I agree with the earlier review that it's not as big or sturdy as the metal lunch boxes from years back. The pictures look great, but the construction seems cheap. I'm not sure how long the boxes or the clasps on them will last, but I'm happy with the way they look. They should get my girls through the end of this school year.

Nothing too special about this. Just your average lunch box. The color and design of the Frozen sisters is bright. The tin seems easy to bend or crush if anything were to happen to it.

Item was exactly as presented. Was very pleased with quality. My only complaint was that when it was packaged there was nothing wrapped around the tin box to protect it so when I opened the box with scissors I scratched the top of the tin box.

Wasn't happy with this at all, it is super small. I thought maybe at that price it would have something inside but no!

Just an inexpensive little lunchbox style tin. At less than seven dollars, while still marketing Frozen for Disney, this tin is a decent value compared to most things "Frozen". Don't expect it to be an old school style lunch box, as there is no thermos or bracket to hold one in place. It's a little bit thinner tin than 70's and 80's lunchboxes, therefore may dent a little more easily.

It will however be filled by my daughter with some of her most prized possessions. The latch is the typical lunchbox latch. The size is about the same size as an old tin lunchbox, 9"x10", except not as deep. Not sure if the styles actually vary like the description says, but we got the more blue looking one in the picture for both tins we ordered. Thanks for reading.

This item is smaller than a traditional lunch box, more the size that a puzzle would come in. It is very flimsy, so I wouldn't trust it for more than chips and a sandwich. On a good note, the "wow" factor was worth it! Frozen lunch box: 10.00 Your granddaughter's face as she proudly marches in to preschool with her new lunch box? PRICELESS
