I was taking generic allergy pills and was becoming immune. When I started taking the FenGre it worked just as well as the other allergy pills I had been taking. The Fen Gre does not last all day. You do need to take it as the bottle states, which is three times a day. If you have bad allergies like I have, you will know when your next pill is due.

My chiropractor is a certified nutritionist and recommended this for heartburn relief. Before taking this, I was on Zegerid for moderate gastritis. I also was avoiding acidic foods/drinks and alcohol, making sure I chewed my food more, and avoided drinking anything with meals (don't want to wash away those digestive juices when you have stomach problems). I didn't have to stop taking presciption stomach medication to take Fen-Gre, but I wanted to, so I stopped taking the Zegerid and started taking three Fengre capsules three times a day with meals. My heartburn is greatly reduced after a month and a half, and I sleep better too. I also have to continue avoiding acidic foods that irritate my stomach, but can now tolerate them better when I do choose to have them. No more low-magnesium side effects from the Zegerid! I don't have dry eyes anymore either. Weird, but I think he said something about how Fen-gre improves the mucous in the body, so maybe it makes sense. I once read an article that taking Fen-Gre for six months straight is needed for complete healing, so be consistent and stick with it. It takes time!
A warning on stopping the presciption medication - I think I had withdrawal issues from it for a couple of weeks, not to mention increased stomach pain for the first couple of days. The chiropractor recommended opening the capsules into hot water and drinking it at these times... it tastes bitter, but it really helped alot!!! Good luck to you if you try it.
