How long can the film be stored if unused? Does it ever go bad? How should we store it to keep the film usable for 6+ months?

I would store it just like any other film in a cool, dark place. I currently keep my extra film in a cupboard in my living room. It's sealed, so as long as it doesn't get hot it should be ok.
