THE BOOK HAS INTERESTING STORIES AND FACTS ON NEW JERSEY. SOME OF THE STORIES I HAD NEVER HEARD ABOUT. WOULD LIKE ANOTHER ONE WITH MORE STORIES AND FACTS IN IT.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining Tales, January 18, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
You don't need to be from New Jersey to enjoy this book. It's full of single-chapter tales that should be interesting to anybody who enjoys the entertaining, personal side of American history. Learn about the officer in the Continental Army who, because of jealousy, did everything he could to undermine George Washington. Follow Martha Washington to Morristown's winter camps during the Revolution. Learn about Robert Stockton (relative of the author, perhaps?) and his founding of Liberia. Much more.
