What better way to celebrate the Bicentennial year that to present to the public the story of the man who was president of the United States in Congress assembled, from 1782 to 1783, sometimes called first president of the United States.
Many well-known personages surrounded E.B.-George Washington, in particular-and he played an important part in the formation of our country. The not so well known Elias Boudinot IV is certainly as important in America's history as Thomas Jefferson were Alexander Hamilton. His father, a silversmith was well acquainted with Benjamin Franklin and other prominent figures. A remarkable man in deed was Elias Boudinot IV, one whose life deserves the telling. |
