Can I use this cable to stream movies from my Kindle Fire HD to my Samsung LCD HD television? If not, what would I use?

You can but you would need an HDMI to Micro Hdmi adapter to plug into the Kindle. This is a good cable, i bought it and had another friend buy 2.

This is a full size HDMI connector commonly found on computers and TV's. Most likely the Kindle has a mini HDMI. You can go to this link for more info. http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/syltguides/fullview/R19LZK2E28W08I

The Kindle Fire HD has a micro-HDMI port, so you will need a micro-HDMI to HDMI cable. Here's a good one on Amazon. Mediabridge FLEX Series Micro-HDMI to HDMI Cable (6 Feet) - High-Speed Supports Ethernet, 3D and Audio Return [Newest Standard]

This should help you connect your Kindle Fire HD to your Samsung LCD HDTV.

I bought the Mediabridge 25 ft HDMI that is of excellent quality. This should also be good.

Only if your Kindle Fire has a standard size HDMI connector, otherwise look on Amazon for an accessory cable. Check the manual as I don't believe they want customers to stream to outside devices. And read the manual

No, but Bluerigger does sale a "mini HDMI" cable that would be compatible. Here's the link to their website: http://www.bluerigger.com/Product.aspx?id=1 . I would recommend it.

You will need a Micro HDMI cable to connect your Kindle Fire HD to the TV. You can purchase our Micro HDMI cable(s) from amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0060AU5MW).
