This review is from: The sun and Catriona (Atlantic large print) (Paperback)
The Count Peter Vilhena was arrogant and demanding. When Catriona Browne a waitress, accidentally spilled coffee on him when she tripped, he had to have his pound of flesh.
Catriona told him off, but she lost her job. The Count had his half-sister Toni with him, she asked Catriona to come with her to Malta to be her companion, Catriona refused. The next day the Count stopped Catriona and asked her to reconsider her decision, she did. Toni only wanted to use Catriona as a smoke screen so she could see a man Vittorio, a man her brother refused to allow her to be with. Toni ran away with Vittorio, but she went off course, she almost got all of them killed on the rocks. Peter gave into Toni, and himself.

Count Peter Vilhena was a snot, he was the worst kind of snob that waiters, and waitress' come across.
He was mean and uncaring about anyone but himself, and his own comfort. He was mean to Catriona Browne when she tripped and spilled coffee on him. Although she apologized, it wasn't enough for the Count, he had to have his pound of flesh. So Catriona told him off. She also lost her job. The Count's young half sister Tony came to Catriona and asked her to be her companion. Catriona refused, but the next day the Count asked her again. Catriona excepted. But Toni only wanted a shield to cover her going around with Vittorio a man her brother didn't want her to see. Toni finally ran away with Vittorio, and almost got all of them killed. Peter gave into Toni, he also gave into himself. |
