E. Bisson says:
Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" series, though much condensed.

I've been watching the Legend of the Seeker, which is set off of Goodkind's books (I have not actually read the books, but for all intents and purposes, I imagine that they're at least vaguely related to the show), and I can't help but to find that the story lines are remarkably similar.

Anyone else agree?

M. Matschke says:
I think that most stories are similar enough that if you look hard enough, you will seem similarities. I mean, when I re-read Eragon, I noticed marked similarities to my favorite tv show, but the tv show aired after the book was published. But I also know that Paolini does love the show, so I was looking for it... It's all how we're sensitized.
