Have you ever had your colour analysis carried out? Or did you know those colours suited you through trying clothes on when shopping and/or the colours you choose based on the fact you like the colours?

Is there a particular reason why you like white? Have you ever heard of having colour analysis carried out?

What hair, eye, and skin tones do you have? Those determine what colors flatter you.

This was in an article I read online from a color expert who wrote a book. These four colors are supposed to be flattering on everyone. Eggplant, true red, Indian teal, and mellow rose. Try them out. I have always liked to wear red, purple and teal colors and I love royal blue. My husband prefers black or white for his shirts.

White makes for the best clothing option sometimes. I used to like green and brown (my eyes are actually those colors) and blue, too. Beige, yellow, teal and orange. Those colors seem to be a closer paint option for the walls of apartments I'm planning for, or have tried. I don't think orange is good for a room with a television.

I love to see my wife in a medium blue, it really makes her blonde hair stand out and brings out the blues in her eyes....

I had my colors done about 20 years ago. It was a gift from my stepmother. I actually found it quite helpful and am still using some of this information today, though with time, I was able to see for myself which colors looked best on me. I am a so-called "spring" and look best in orangey reds, peach, navy blue, kelly green and deep brown and cobalt blue. Generally, I do best with warm colors, somewhat bright, but not the absolute brightest. I have brown hair, blue eyes and tend to be somewhat pale.

Pink, which is a worry, as I'm a guy.

I have dark hair, blue eyes and beige skin tone, I do colours and skin analysis and am a Deep Cool colour.

Yes it is true, those colours are flattering on most people, I do colour and style analysis and I am a Deep Cool colour, the colours for me are navys, black, white, purples, fushias etd.

Hi Kristina I too had my colours carried out almost 30 years ago, I was a Winter, I am now a colour and style consultant and working with a new colour range, I am now a Deep Cool colour, a colour system developed in australia.

I am quite passionate about colours and doesn't it make a difference when you wear your own specific colours.

Uni, worry not about pink. If it is ok for me to wear blue and it not make me a lesbian, you can wear pink and should not be presumed homosexual because of it. I think pink is sexy on guys, actually.
Craig, white counts as a color. I mean, it is not like it is transparent or clear....

I never had an analysis done on me, but I get compliments here and there wearing red. I even got kissed on my hand once by a guy telling me I look sexy in red. I prefer bright to medium reds over dark reds. I think anyone with a loving personality can pull off red. I admit I find it sexy when Tom Welling from Smallville wears the red t-shirt. I wonder if he has a loving personality in real-life...
I once saw a photo of myself some days ago in my black faux wrap dress ( was black until it faded in the wash...) and thought to myself "I have no business wearing all black. I need to do black top and a different color skirt, or the other way around...)
I LOVE white on myself, yellows that are no darker than daffodil yellow, bright pink as well. I have a limited-color wardrobe now! LOL! Red, White ( pure and also off-white), a couple daffodil yellows, black, little pink. I would love more bright yellows, but they are darned well near impossible to buy, and when you see it, often too expensive.

If you are wondering about me, I have complexion approximately that of Halle Berry's or Vanessa Williams, sometimes a bit brighter in the winter if I'm fortunate enough to lose some of the summer tan, got brown eyes, and very dark brunette that often can be mistaken for raven hair.

Maybe green is one of them as well, as when I got my makeup done once somewhere for free with purchase of a product, to see what would be picked out for me, and for my eyes, light green was chosen. Would be interesting if green suits me considering I'm part Celtic...

Had my color analysis when I was a teenager. I am a "winter," with dark hair (almost black), very fair skin with blue undertones, and gray eyes (mood eyes- very light color that changes from grayish green to bright green to bright blue-aqua-green to blue-green-gray; no brown or hazel, but a couple of tiny yellow specks). A winter is supposed to be the only season type who actually looks good in black or white, as it enhances our very extreme coloring. (Besides my type, the two other types of winters are either palest, true ash blondes with light eyes and very fair skin with blue undertones, or are at the other end of the spectrum with dark, dark african-american skin with blue undertones, black hair and dark brown eyes.)
I look good in black, white, most shades of gray, silver, pewter, fuchsia, emerald green, teal, navy, cobalt blue, deep amethyst purple, red (not orange-red), and some others. I look awful in brown, yellow, and muted colors. I look washed out in most pastels, so I try to avoid those too.

Uni,pink is cool,I have a couple pink shirts,ones a dress shirt with french cuffs,I have a pink polo shirt and my wife buys my tee shirts,and sometimes she surprises me with a pink one.
Don't let colors bother you,when I was a teenager,if you wore any shade of red on Friday,it was supposed to mean you were gay,labeling someone because of the color of their clothes is really bonehead.

It isn't so much that I'm worried about what others think. There isn't much in the way of male suitable clothing available in pink where I live, which is why I usually end up in blacks, blues, greens and browns- the colors that are available.

I forgot to mention my undertone is yellow.

Yesterday I wore a light green shirt ( not lime, but a lighter shade than that), and put on my neon green hairbows from Claire Boutique I got over the summer, had on some light green eyeshadow, and really loved the green on myself. Someday I will got to get some more light green clothing for my wardrobe when things allow me to buy clothing. Like, tops and dresses ( but not in skirts)
