Wow. you are clueless. Some of the most productive people I know smoke pot. I do actually to deal with anxiety issues that were not solved by 'big pharma's' expensive pills. In fact, they were made worse. And if you are to target citizens for not being productive, how about the half the country sitting around drinking bud light, polishing their guns, or people that sit around reading the good book all day. And you know what, that is thier right to choose. This is America, all we are required to do is go to work and pay our taxes. I do both. How we use our free time, and towards what end, is up to us. Life , liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were still the dream last time I checked. Most of the artistic types I know, graphic designers, the people that run tech support, programmers, software people, all smoke. My best friend smokes a j each morining, then sinks into building custom pc's all day. Not true, pot smokers are not worthless bottom feeders. I have never heard of a "potsmoker" killing a whole family driving home from grandmas house. I know people that smoke pot that are very intellegent. They smoke it for pain relief and pot is a lot better than getting addicted to narcotics.

Wow aren't we christians supposed to forgive people for their sins?? Even the pot smokers?? I know a lot of people who some smoke pot, by the way most of them are christians, and they are normal, loving hard working people. I also know most all of these people feel they need to hide their smoking from others who they know look down upon it, their parents, boss or friends. Now how could all of these people keep smoking pot and hiding it from all of these people if it makes them such bottom feeders and unproductive citizens in our world? Think about that next time you are talking to a friend, relative or co-worker that you think you know!! Pot is grown from a seed just like all the fruits and veggies we all eat every day. Beer and alcohol are brewed and meth is made in a lab & even cocaine though it comes from a plant has to undergo a series of chemical processes before it can be made into the street drug. Got made pot but man made drugs & alcohol......

This is a silly argument. Just because something occurs naturally doesn't mean it's any more or less beneficial for us to consume. God made plenty of natural poisons, too. You also seem to be ignoring the fact that simply eating marijuana leaves doesn't do anything. Just like all other drugs, it has to be processed unnaturally (smoking, baking, etc.) in order to make the chemical reaction that causes us to feel something.

Fun fact: Corn is a totally man-made, genetically engineered plant. Without humans' tampering, corn, as we know it, would not exist.

We should also ban TV and alcohol.

Phillip you too have very silly judgements....next time you come across a pot plant go ahead and pick off a bud or two and eat them and see how you feel about a half hour to 45 minutes later. No need to bake it, that would just make the taste more pleasing. Smoking pot only makes its effects over your body happen faster. Last I checked fire was a natural thing also, the chemicals in your mixed drink are not! So why dont you go eat some corn and have a beer!!

We should also ban high fructose corn syrup and Aspartame.

I am a christian who attends bible school and worship service every week. I am a happy person who loves people and will help those in need whenever I can. I am responsbile adult who works 40 hours a week to pay my bills and provide for myself and my family. AND in my spare time on the weekends and sit back, relax, and SMOKE POT.
Alcohol is legal and no different from marijuana as long as it is used responsibly.
