Thank you Kindle customers!

Thanks to you, in just the first 73 days of this holiday quarter, we've already sold millions of our all-new Kindles with the latest E Ink Pearl display. In fact, in the last 73 days, readers have purchased more Kindles than we sold during all of 2009. We're grateful for and energized by the overwhelming customer response.

Thank you for being a customer,

The Kindle Team

P.S. Kindle is far and away our bestselling gift item. You can learn more about our all new Kindle with the most advanced E Ink pearl display for $139 at http://amazon.com/kindle

I got one for Hanukah - about a month early since my K2 died - and I'm loving the improved Kindle. So much so that my dad bought my grandfather got one for his birthday as he'd been asking around about ereader.

I honestly don't know what I'd do without the Kindle; it enriches my life everyday. I have all three generations of Kindle--and I love them all. Thanks, Kindle Team, for the fantastic customer support over the years!

Kindlefolk,
We have bought three (one as an Xmas gift for our daughter) - but PLEASE get the problem with the unlighted cover causing reboots solved... It detracts from the usability and the pleasure in using it.

I'm very happy with my Kindle, I received it in France on september, 16. Now I have it since 87 days and I have yet read 67 books, some of them quite fat ! It's such a pleasure to read that I forget time and world around. I also correct the text of my own ebooks with a precision I never had before, reading on my MacBook's screen. I evangelise about Kindle on Twitter and Facebook and on my blog : gaellekermen.net
Always with my Kindle, in my pocket when I travel, in my bed most often :-)

Thank you, Kindle Team, for not only developing such a wonderful product but for not resting on your laurels with the K1 but for continuing to improve with each edition. The K3 is fantastic. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us with the K4.

Thank YOU! Not only for a great product but for the great customer service that stands behind it.
I've only had my K3 since October and I've read more books in the last 2 months than I've read in the last 2 years!

Wow. More sales than all of 2009? The Kindle was launched in late August, so it has been out for over three months really, more than 73 days. I know production was taxed right after the launch. I guess the phrase "sellin' like hotcakes" applies here. (Were hotcakes a big item at one time? lol)

It looks like my mother will be joining the Kindle 3 craze. I bought her one of the great K2 deals during the Black Friday sale (the $120 refurb). She read on it and liked it. But I showed her my K3 alongside the K2, comparing features, and she is now trying my K3 out. She is smitten. (She is not effusive about it because she is very frugal-minded and feels guilty about wanting the upgrade, but I can tell she wants a K3. ha ha ha)
