I bought a used instrument from K G GLobal and it was interrible condition, needed $700 in repairs. They refused to allow me to return it and won't refund my money. They are a dishonest, unethical, rude business. Do not make the same mistake as I did!

I had the SAME exact experience with this business. Once they have your money they absolutely will not give it back and will use ANY excuse to deny a refund. In my case they were happy to give me an exchange on an instrument that came to me in worse condition than described until I asked them to waive shipping on the second instrument because they had failed to point out problems with the first one. Shipping was only $28, but they refused to waive it for me and when I suggested that if that was too much to ask maybe I'd just be taking my business elsewhere, Karsten Goetze, the owner (probably sole-proprietor) said he was returning the original instrument to me against my wishes. This was 2 weeks after I'd sent it back to him! I have had to take him to court in my home state and now he'd refusing to pay the judgement. Stay FAR FAR away from this business. It's not worth it regardless of how low the prices are - you really get what you pay for with them. I know because I'm still dealing with this mess a full YEAR later. Feel free to respond to this post with any requests for supporting documentation. And in the meantime DO NOT make any purchases from K.G. Global Inc.

I have since sold the instrument to Wichita Band for a loss of$1250. I had gotten to the point of exhausting all avenues short of taking them to small claims court but since I am in Illinois and they are in Florida, that would have been very costly financially and time-consuming. Please file a complaint with the BBB of Southern Florida so that they can take your experience into account when they rank the company. Maybe that will dissuade future buyers from dealing with them. Sorry to hear you went through the same problems I did - it was a very frustrating experience.

I'm going to jump in here since I contributed a lot of money to Nin-Ja-Sha's purchase from K.G. Global, Inc. (now named Music-Oldtimer, Inc.). After some online sleuthing, I found out that a week after the judgment against K.G. Global, Karsten changed the name of his company to Music-Oldtimer, Inc. Here is the paperwork he filed with the Florida Department of State: Presumably he changed the name to add an extra hurdle in our attempt to get our money back. This is NOT the kind of person you want to do business with.

And one more thing. To make sure that Music-Oldtimer, Inc./K.G. Global, Inc. keeps your money when they get their hands on it, they don't let anyone pay with a credit card or via PayPal. Again, the only logical reason why Karsten wouldn't allow these forms is because there is fraud protection built in to both methods.

Here are some other forums where people are explaining their problems with Music-Oldtimer, Inc.
(sorry, this one's on a german site, but there's an english translation. Or you could use your own translator.)
